Sure do!

How the fuck do so many people like Tharja? Her face is hideous.

Is it worth to use him for the interaction alone? He is always out of my parties cuz I don't like to have too many mages.

>disgusting stalker
>abuses her future daughter
>implied rape in her A-support with both Robins
>stalks you, even if married to someone else
>reincarnates herself into Fates to keep stalking you

0/10 would not put Morgan in her

>two playable hexmage characters
>game fails to introduce hexes
how could that game fail so hard?

Hot body + completely obsessed with your character.

I think they had hex as a skill, but that's about it.

Anyway what should I make Kagero for revelations, master ninja or Mechanist? I'm leaning towards mn even though I did that in birthright

Yes. He's fun and a good father.

This meme waifu was FE's downfall

No I like settling down to a nice quiet farm life with my adorable waifu

Future Pasts actually had a better story than the main-game, the self-sacrifice Owain, Inigo, and Severa try to do gets me everytime

Master Ninja is one of the best classes in the game. Its too much of a pain in the ass to train up bow levels when you already should have dedicated bow users by that point.

Just go with Master Ninja to most efficiently augment your big guns, since Revelations pretty much demands so many Dragon Blood users on the field.

If by darkness you mean sitting on my face to let me sniff your asshole, yes, Tharja.

Wish they would do more story/challenging maps for the dlc. Grinding dlc is a waste of time.

The dark mages incorporate hexes and curses and the like as passive debuffs to enemies around them.

I imagine in future entries you might see them adapt more active debuffing magic as a magic-based counterpart to the knives/shurikens(magic shuriken aside), what with bows' extreme buff and magic's simplified diversification.

Maybe if you had some character besides being a MC crazed cunt

It was surprisingly decent, unlike fates' child DLC that got split into 7 parts and still manages to not be as enjoyable as FP. Though that's not helped by the kids being nothing more than cash grab additions compared to Awakening's kids which were actually plot relevant

>come for Tharja
>stay for Lissa

Why was she so....best?

because she was just the right amount of fun adn normal in a girl to be appealing. Her only drawback was not having a no pig-tails option, hair down lissa a best. Tharja was basically fates camilla, except the na team didnt try to make tharja as unappealing as possible without directly changing her.
>That voice

>PvP
>Opponent's characters all have bullshit builds.

Every time. It's not just stats either, but also classes and skills.

I came and stayed for Tharja but Lissa is good too. She's cute and give you a great family.

I want nu-FE fags to die

We're stuck with them until FE gets away from the waifu simulator aspect likely never with how much money its making them. Atleast gameplay is still alright, i just hope they fix their fucking plots and introduce actual MCs, these barebone personality shits who are somehow super special and awesome and can lead/decide everything is getting really tiring

Nyx Nyx?

Is the series sticking with the 3ds for the next title?

>1 dark magic in fates
>shadowgift is virtually useless now
>scrolls fucking suck
>no specific typing for tomes
How do you fuck up this bad?

No idea, id like to see them try console again but at the same time i dont want to buy one, plus unless they suddenly bring their A game in terms of writing(not saying much but PoR/RD were pretty okay in terms of scope) it could be good.

But more than likely itll stick to handheld, its worked better for them in the long run. PoR/RD sold for shit compared to their other titles, all i can hope for is that theyll either stop with the red/blue shit they did with fates or make them truly 2 seperate games, not this 2 sides of the saem story bullshit that left both feeling half-assed cause "muh true end dlc"

meant for

I didn't care about any of the kids and never used them. The DLC in that case was just pretty boring.

next title is on mobile

mostly the same, i used a few just because they were well above their parents in terms of growth/start stats. But they were just simply pointless to whatever plot this game had, awakening had some excuse for the child chars, they were just implemented porrly, fates had no reason for them, but they were mechanically implemented well. Level scaling/offspring seals were a fantastic idea that i wish had been awakening

There's really no point to distinct typing when everybody can use any type, and the statistical difference is trivial(and restricting it by element is retarded anyway).

It also ties into the better rebalancing that comes about as a result of eliminating weapon usage. Things that perform effective damage have to be restricted in some way.

Honestly, the only real issue is just the same thing that plagued mages in PoR/RD. Mages just don't grow that well compared to other specialized units, bows are buffed much better, and the wholesale utility of magic isn't too hot. Not to mention the addition of much more physical weapons that can attack at 1-2 range like the hidden weapons and many bows.

Honestly, all mages would really need is better magic stat growth across the board, and maybe some skill and speed to at least keep up with other midrange classes like paladin or hero, and they'll fit their niches properly.

I love darkness!

We're birds of a feather!

I'm always raven about doom and gloom, haha!

If you see a corpse, take me along to investigate. I'd love to take a beak!

I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my celltome, so caw me, maybe?

meant to reply

personally i think mages could replace ninjas in terms of debuff gimmicks and be fine that way too. Ninjas too OP anyway

Victory Victory~

I was so torn on my first Birthright playthrough between her and Rinkah.
I picked delicious brown and kind of regret it

Rinkah is such a dissappointment even on hard when level ups arent fixed. I just pair her off to subaki now so that not-cordy can almost perpetually make use of prodigy whle having super def

...

Or if they don't do a whole faction-wide class splitting, the diviner/mage line could just be raw magic nuking with a line of more powerful tomes on top of access to staves and better magic growth/caps, while dark mages would be focused on magic-based debuffing and have moderately better survivability.

...

Didn't they try that in Path of Radiance?

>even on hard when level ups arent fixed
please explain how can level ups be ''fixed''?

Yeah, she wasn't all that great on my Revelation run but she was never completely terrible.
I used a partner seal on her in birthright and turned her into a Malig Knight, she actually ended up being pretty useful.

That's if they dont just delete dark mages altogether, as is theyve been less and less of a class since 6/7. Technically awakening brought them back, but they were just mage+1 in that and standalone mages were shit if memory serves.

Lunatic birthright level ups were fixed, so if a character had a 20% stat growth, every 5 levels would net a +1 i nthat stat. It made shitty growth units REALLY shit, i.e. Rinkah with her SHIT STR/SKL/SPD

Dark magic isn't even in Path of Radiance.

>Lunatic birthright level ups were fixed, so if a character had a 20% stat growth, every 5 levels would net a +1 i nthat stat. It made shitty growth units REALLY shit, i.e. Rinkah with her SHIT STR/SKL/SPD
Why the fuck would they do that?

ohh that explain why in my hard conquest run my units got random level ups but in my lunatic birthright/revelation didnt

Who knows, but it was the main reason i never did lunatic more than once, i wish there was toggle for it, i dont mind the idea but chars in birthright have terrible growths compared to conquest. Plus i enjoy the RNG factor. Its a nice idea, just again, make it a toggle next time not a forced setting

...

My Mozu was a fucking beast with fixed level ups

It's especially jarring because Path of Radiance DID have a Fixed Growth option you unlocked after beating it once. Why the hell can't IS use any of that game's good ideas straight again?

>there will never be badass elderly witches on your team ever again because the rule of nu-FE dictates that all females have to be young and attractive

When Ike visits you JUST right on chapter 11

Mozu's almost always good, her stat spreads already solid and aptitiude kicks all that up even further. I almost want ot say fixed levels do more for her because it seems like shes scared of STR on my hard conquest/reva runs, its weird.

I really think some of thier devs left after the PoR/RD time period. Nothings quite lived up to those 2 in overall scope since. Which reminds me, i really wish theyd reimplement the point cost on skills, fates did well to make them less broken, but theyre still bonkers if you put in the work/gold

Clingy Mommy complex bitch.

...

But user, Nyx is xxxx yrs old!
ill be happy when the game isnt focused on S supports and everyone being a pairing again, these supports can be real cancer

...

>nu-FE dictates that all females have to be young and attractive

You mean in general? Even in the first game, it's usually the teenage characters that are regarded as strong and hot.

...

think user means that thers currently no unmarriable old unit because everyone has to be fuck able to MC, not even Gunter is safe from this fate, provided you dont mind fucking over a Kana

>Implying Reina is young

I think they mean there were characters like Niime, Hannah, Meg, Fiona, Vaida etc. that weren't conventionally attractive

>but theyre still bonkers if you put in the work/gold
It was already getting insane by Radiant Dawn.
youtube.com/watch?v=d0dYl8f4EOY
youtube.com/watch?v=TgRLbGpgV9s

Reina isn't young. Also Titania was in her 40s at least.

Im not saying RD wasnt broken, but it has a beter sense of balance than fates did and especially awakening. 6 skills is just too much, honestly think either a point spead on skills or limiting them to 4 would be ideal, assuming they keep this class skill format, dont see why theyd stop

Well even with the huge nerf Nos tanking was useful with Ophelia

I think skills would be better off as simply acquired through loot or rewards instead of just being level up bonuses. Maybe you could implement a point system where skills are cheaper to equip for certain classes.

I really love Henry's ribbed sweater and I kind of wish it was standard for male dark mages. Or that he at least retained it into his promotion like other heroes with custom uniforms/schemes do.

>Im not saying RD wasnt broken, but it has a beter sense of balance than fates did and especially awakening.
is this a joke? RD skills were broken as fuck they could one-shot everything. Fates nerfed some skills from awakening

Possibly, though people would likely want some skills for a class. Another thing they could do is make a personal and a class skill that is locked to that class, then use your idea for the rest

So Felicia and Fiora were Corrin's maids right? So does that include tending to his sexual needs?

...

RD was broken by a select few chars with the right skills set, and only at/near end-game, which is just about the norm for any FE game post 5.
Fates can be broken at any point through buying skills/grinding and by any character though use of skill combos. Awakening was worse than both obviously.

RD's biggest imbalance was that non-royals were garbage

...

...

>buying skills/grinding
Only a shitter buy skills from other castles or use ''My castle'' items/bonuses. Also you can't grind in Conquest route

I loved how this guy just appeared out of nowhere and started wrecking shit with his crows, I still don't know what his deal is but I'd like this "he may be wicked but at least is on our side, right?" kind of character.

...

I didn't understand why I liked anna so much until I realized I have Scottish blood

It has its moments.

...

>most of the Nohr classes are subpar
>almost all S-rank classes with the good skills are Hoshidan
What the fuck man. Why do myrmidons have to be a godly class 2 games in a row?

>Light
>Not Moulder the boulder
You fucked up big time, son

Literally best girl

you could tell from the get go hoshido was going to get all the good stuff user. Nohr doesnt even get a good natural archer

>Greedy money hungry skank.

...

>has an infinite amount of sisters all with a rocking bod that you can swap out for at any time
Pros heavily outweigh the cons, especially compared to how terrible the rest of the roster is

...

That's not Charlotte user

I really don't know why you expected grorious nippon to NOT suck it's own dick at every opportunity it can

Not really. There were a lot of useless/bad characters throughout the game that had at least some uses because of the way availability worked. It just so happened they threw a bunch of broken laguz at you for the final part. I think it was balanced by forcing you to take a bunch of garbage characters, but I never used the royals and was fine in RD. You just need units that hit the magic number.

>Hoshido classes are heavily specialized
>Nohr classes lean towards balance

I mean, it's not really too weird that fucking ninjas, samurai and kyuudo users were in the Japan analogue.

The best part is Nohr couldnt even get its own classes right
>2 mercs, which are almost always god-tier
>both are so middling they are borderline shit

Atleast knights/fighters were still decent enough-good, which is always a sight to see

There was that too but even non-laguz could be usable with some babying, non-royals took a lot of babying in comparison. Not to say you arent wrong, you're not, but laguz were jsut bad, they were better in PoR and even i nthat they werent great

I get the flavor to the sides, but most of Hoshido's specialized classes shit all over Nohr's balanced classes. Why would you ever pick a merc over a myrmidon or an outlaw over a ninja?
I just wanted heroes to be great again.

Selena was still really good in my Conquest HM, only unit with decent stat in def and res that didn't get fucked over by bows or beastkillers. Plus she could more or less kill with a brave sword, especially if Killer Axe!Beruka was paired up with her

They can be user, just not with the ones the game gives you. I expect mediocrity from Laslow, but Selena was just upsetting at how bad she was, she was just under bench material for me.

Bout the only truly good thing Nohr had for it was mages, sicne diviner scrolls were piss-weak, discounting Odin since that kid never seems to decide on what he wants to be besides dread fighter

Selena's just too average, ive done 3 runs and 2 of the 3 she didnt grow well enough in SPD/STR to keep up with damage, still, could be worse, could be la slow
