My crazy no way in hell characters were Viewtiful Joe and Travis Touchdown. Travis wouldn't get in for the language (that's worse violence to Americucks), and Joe wouldn't get in because time powers wouldn't work well in a multiplayer game, 1v1 or otherwise. Oh well, I wanted them bad.

It would've been a licensing fucking nightmare, but I would've liked it over Bayonetta. If you need to make a patch to nerf just one character & only one character, it probably wasn't a good character idea to begin with.
