Well Sup Forums?

Left is Sarif's plan to lie, blaming the humanity front and allowing corporations to advance augmentation technology at an astounding rate without government intervention

Middle is Darrow's plan to tell the truth and blame the illuminati for the attacks, reveal that the biochips are for human control and hopefully stop augmentation altogether by scaring everyone

Right is Taggart's plan to blame the attacks on tainted medicine allowed to slip into the supply by corporate negligence and hopefully incur greater restrictions on augmentation laws

choose wisely

That's the Ending-Tron 3000?
I thought that was just a joke.

Destroy Panchea

Sinking it is the canon answer

Option 4: Exit out of this and play a better game

I played this game until i infiltrated the police station, for some reason i just couldn't continue, the game just felt empty

I think no matter what ending, the Illuminati would prevail. They control the media and a lot of people are stupid and trust the media

chose this on my initial playthrough, not sure if id choose it again though

>games that are anti-corporate as fuck

When will this meme end?

>Cyberpunk
>Expecting something else

Hey buddy I think you got the wrong door

It would be neat for a game's story to promote corporatism for once by showing just how important it is to the advancement of human civilization.

Do you even cyberpunk? You act like corporations are perfect and it's unacceptable they're ever shown as corrupt. I don't trust either them or the Government, and in many cyberpunk worlds they are pretty much the Government

sarif

Left is obviously the canon answer.

I want to see a cyberpunk game that isn't the typical Death to the Aristos Blade Runner setup.

Yeah, I know it's common in cyberpunk. Would be a neat twist though if a game deconstructed it.

just played through this game doing a stealth nonlethal but I didn't get pacifist because someone died from the mech when I rescued malik

I'm thinking of going through again in a guns blazing lethal action movie style, is that worth a playthrough?

Not that user, but I kind of agree. It gets more interesting if there are two genuine options for the player to pursue. In HR they got somewhat close by making Sarif kind of a benevolent figure and friend, but his option is still the one that encourages unrepentant capitalism based on a lie.

Then again, I'm pro anything that deconstructs old tropes. I don't necessarily have to agree with it to be able to enjoy it either.

Then you lose the "punk" of it

left i guess

Good thing Mankind Divided Retcons all 3.
I don't need to choose.

what if it didn't retcon it and your choice just didn't matter ala telltale

Divided has a plot that branches off before Adam goes off to the final fight IIRC, I know it cuts off before you finished Revolution and goes down a new path.

Oh well

Hopefully the game is good, I could give less of a fuck about story.
HR was kind of a slog

>Not telling people what actually happened and keeping shadowy elites from manipulating the truth for their own agendas
Tools, all of you.

Taggart's plan or self destruct
Jensen himself explains why Darrow's plan is full retard in the argument with him in the viewing room. I honestly don't understand how anyone could ever think it was a good idea
Sarif's plan is also pretty retarded since Jensen and Sarif both know that the illuminati control the media and can easily swing this back in their own favor

>i have no idea what the word punk means: the post
>punk is literally anti establishment
kill yourself.

but how does one prosecute "the Illuminati"

nobody knows who they are except Taggart and he's not telling

Darrow is going to be taken about as seriously as Eliot Rodgers
Telling the truth will help the Illuminati more than anything

>faggots not standing with David

If you side with David both of you will be murdered by the Illuminati in a month tops
Also Bob Page probably gains the most from Sarif's plan

The truth involves telling people the fucking insane bullshit Darrow pulled. However, it also shows that "Hey, if put this shit in my body, someone else might end up using it against me." Which is absolutely what the Illuminati were hoping to do with their chip upgrades that Darrow ended up hijacking.

Furthermore, I'm kinda just disgusted that people would try and go along with sleazy people who want to lie to implement their vision of an ideal society, instead of putting the truth out to let people decide for themselves, even if most people don't end up believing it.

So, generic sci fi shit?

Destroy the damn base. Its not my job to tell the world how to run itself. By taking any of those options you're doing exactly what the people you were fighting against do which is exert control over the direction of the world.
