Is there a game with shittier DLC?
Is there a game with shittier DLC?
Almost every multiplayer game because they split the playerbase.
Bioshock infinite had some pretty garbage dlc
>single player horde mode made up of assets used in an unreleased mp mode
>2 part dlc unnecessarily tying the main characters of infinite to the events BS1
Whole game was garbage and the dlc did nothing to improve on it except maybe tickle at my nostalgia clit just a little when getting to go back to the superior city.
Oblivion had horse armor DLC and Saboteur made you pay to see nipples, so yeah.
I heard one of them let you build custom robots and that sounded pretty fucking radical. Is it not what I think it is/want it to be?
Saints Row 3/4
...
no you can build robots.
its not very interesting though. takes about an hour to see all different robots you can build
Nah, its pretty fun.
>but were they good?
Was the nipple preorder bonus? I pirated it and saw the nips in the cabaret. Game is comfy as fuck.
How's Far Harbour? It reminds me of the Point Lookout dlc from Fallout 3 which was GOAT
Gears of War 3
Nope
>can't even play Horde matchmaking with a guest because it's all ranked
Fuck that game.
Thanks Bethesda!
It's not bad. Feels like point look out 1.5 minus the whole deliverence style rednecks.
Alot more monsters which is kinda cool
Is the creepy vibe still there?
> a dozen dlc packs released
> only 2 of them are something other than weapon skins
Kind of. It's got a spoopy feel to the place but odds are if you're level 30+ you are the most dangerous thing there.
Recommend not bringing power armor to make it feel more creepy
Considering it was supposed to be their big DLC, and that it was supposed to be "bigger than anything else, on the scale of schivering isles" I was extremely disappointed.
Why did 3 have better DLC than this shit? You'd think after hearng about the "Sea of Tranquility" plastered in the fucking starting area of the game Bethesda maybe took pointers from Obsidian and laid out some subtle hints on future DLC maybe on the moon or something (Literally make Big MT exept on an airless crater) but FUCK EVERYTHING and just release three hearthfire shit a half-assed robot dlc, fucking pointlookout 2.0 and Nuka world...which is just gonna be paradise falls but in Boston. I'm so glad I never bought the season pass because it was hella fishy from the beginning.
BL2 or fo3
to me, its a dead tie
Supposedly their next one is supposed to be big as fuck.
SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY EIGHT DOLLARS AND SEVENTY EIGHT CENTS ($738.78) for shitty costumes that cost more than a AAA game
Because they realised that it doesn't matter how much effort they put into the game, retards will buy it anyway.
Supposedly so was Far Harbor. You can't trust a word Todd says
nuka world is going to be on par with honest hearts in terms of quality.
XCOM 2
Although the shen's last gift DLC was well worth it
>moonbase dlc
I don't even want an explanation I just want to kill shit on the moon. Wolfenstien did this and I loved it even though it was a short segment
You are but a babby
I pirated the DLC's that mattered, ignored the Hearthfire clones. It's fucking sad that Bethesda wont utilize own ucking in-game assets.
>Nate being an actual veteran in Alaska we could see how the war really played out via Memory den
Missed opportunity. Don't give a fuck about the wife last time I checked husband was suppose to be MC but Feminism and equality made them add her in too.
>Kellogg still alive in Valentines head could come back for some revenge and find out what he did to piss off the Shi or that 'Mysterious voice' that killed his family
Again missed fucking opportunity...holy shit now I'm mad.
Can someone please explain why horse armor is so bad? I wasn't really into gaming when Oblivion was popular so I missed it.
Do people just hate it because it was one of the first shitty DLCs?
It was shitty becausw Bethesda was charging DLC on something that was so useless. I don't think anyone who played Oblivion ever used the horses.
Train Simulator kind of makes sense though, it's far cheaper than buying actual train set pieces. Being a model railway hobbyist is really fucking expensive.
I wouldn't buy that shit myself but it kind of makes sense.
...
The Bethesda game before this one and the one that comes after.
people gotta wank, man
Crusader Kings 2
Europa Universalis 4
It did nothing and if your horse died it was lost until you started a new game.
Dragonborn was pretty good
>no payday 2
This
Probably my favorite part of skyrim
If you played Old World Blue's DLC did you ever notice that Big MT ahared an aqeful lot of resemblances to a moonbase in a crater? Well that's because the cut content involved you boarding a rocketship up into a similar base to stop a mad scientist from bombing all of Nevada with nuclear warheads. They decided to rework it into the DLC's but instead of a mad scientist and space they made Big MT and Ulysess to meet up with the deadline.
OP said shittier DLC. Train Sim can grant you a certification on simulated training as a train engineer.
Not only is it one of the first, it's THE FIRST dlc to ever hit the market and it was so fucking shit. Really set up the entire trend on a downhill path.
>tfw RPing my dark elf street urchin in the streets of windhelm who eventually heads out to Solstheim and rediscovers his ancestral roots
I only hated how grey everything was and those ash zombies being massive damage sponges
I remember a time when you got the whole game right away without having to shell out an extra $30 but those times are far behind
>Settlements will be an optional part of the game
>3 dlcs are all about settlements
>1 is a 20 minute quest dlc
>The other 2 aren't even bigger than Dragonborn when combined
I'm glad I didn't buy the season pass since it's easy as fuck to pirate the DLCs for Bethesda games but then again I did buy the game itself so I'm still retarded.
Wasn't that supposed to be the endgame level in Van Buren or something?
>Nuke world is confirmed the last DLC
There's people on Sup Forums right now that will defend this steaming pile of shit with a Fallout label slapped onto it.
Story and speech options are fucking abysmal
Factions are pants on head retarded
Weapon design sucks
DLC is a complete and utter let down as its been 90% workshop garbage that mods have and will continue to make redundant
It's like they looked at FO3 and said how can we improve gameplay, but make everything else worse and less like a Fallout game?
Meanwhile, Obsidian churned out a better game in a year and some change. A storyline that didn't have huge plotholes like in FO3.
Managed to get iron sights to work in gamebryo as well as dynamic reloads, which Bethesda still can't do.
DLC that were all worth the money besides maybe Dead Money as it varies from person to person.
Todd once again proves that trusting him is setting yourself up for disappointment.
It set a trend of making an effort to produce senseless content to sell it for unimaginable sums;
compared to what a single armor model in the game would cost, which can´t even be expressed in a cent amount, asking for 2 fiddy for it is madness.
It also showed a trend of publishers making games not as complete products but as vectors to sell your even more stuff.
>Nuke world is confirmed the last DLC
Oh yeah, I can see why the price increase of the season pass was entirely justified.
Yeah. I'm still pissed about it. Video game deadlines should be outlawed because greedy jew ridden shareholders think rushing shit out the door will increase sales and just "fix" it later. Although Obsidian did make up by creating the amazing story linked DLC's it was just sad seeing what could have been all around New Vegas...the Bright followers, Archimedes etc.
Wait so Nukeworld is the only real content DLC?
What the fuck?
Far Harbor too
DOA5: Last Round DLC is the ultimate cancer on steam. Whopping ~800€ if you buy every piece of dlc including the 5€ new character.
Bethesda realized how fucking ass people are calling their game to be that they've decided to stop churning out DLC. Not like anything of value was ever made these past few months. Three fucking hearthfire workshop clones...3!
>Interesting concept ruined by garbage "side content" and a main story isn't much better
>Completely OP animal powers that trivialize literally everything
>Turns into Kingdom Hearts for no reason in the final boss
>Le it was all just a dream :)
People will still eat it up anyway so not like they give a shit.
There's Far Harbor, but it's Point Lookout 2.0 "muh daughter ran away to a fog covered swamp island!". It's not a big island either. It has maybe one or teo neat quests while the rest of the quests are "go here and kill this and come back and go kill another thing and come back"n "go here and collect [item]", or "go here and clear out this area and come back".
>it's Point Lookout 2.0
Point Lookout had good quests at least
Basically the goal of this DLC is to fill out that evil playstyle that's missing in the main game...WELL no fucking shit considering the god aweful diologue choices consist of
>Yes
>Question yes
>Sarcastic yes
>No but I really mean yes
Fallout 3
>two purely CoD style DLCs
>Point Lookout with trivial story, barely any NPCs and OP enemies
Broken Steel and The Pitt were acceptable though
Eh, I kinda enjoyed them all. Anchorage and Mothership Zeta were my personal favorites. I just wanna experience more during the war. Fallout 4 could have had that happen but that's too much work.
>fill out the evil playstyle
Unless they're entirely revamping the dialogue and main quest line for evil playthroughs with this DLC you'll still be goody goody Yes man in the commonwealth where you'll spend most of your game time in after you finish a DLC and have almost no reason to return to the DLC zone after exploring the substantially smaller map boundries.
