Honestly Nintendo as a whole is just utter garbage now. Their games as SO fucking dumbed down that I have more challenge playing any random smartphone shovelware. I've just installed rxtools on my old 3ds xl that was buried somewhere in my room and everything is just trash. The only game worth a shit that I found was Donkey Kong Country Returns, which is in the fucking wii. Mario Kart 7 is fun to play with a friend of mine that has one as well but what the fuck isn't fun to play with buddies anyway? Everything is just so casual and dumbed down, holy shit. I was trying my hand at monster hunter but I just can't stand the crippled controls of that thing and how fucking clunky your character feels. Don't even get me started on retarded shit such as being locked in place for half a year just for using a potion because your character felt like doing a showing off pose for no fucking reason while some dragon shit is storming your ass.

I think I might just sell this garbage while it still has some value. Worst console I've ever owned in my entire life by far.

Not THIS easy though. There were plenty of pokemon in the older ones that would fuck your shit up in no time and gym leaders were actual challenging. Now in this heap of trash you are always - ALWAYS - way above their level if you don't use exp share. You have to cripple yourself out the fucking ass in this game in order to try to make it challenging, which was simply never a thing. Also, TMs get handed out to you like candy and they even offer to carry your ass to the next town automatically.

XY and ORAS just hold your hands but the games are really not easier than first gen.
I mean that your EXP share just balances your teams out so that you always have a good team is kinda bullshit but in first gen you could beat the entire game with just the starter and maybe a second one easily with minimal grind.

Yeah, because making levelling up harder is not an intrinsic way of making a fucking turn-based RPG harder, isn't it? Or do you think this is an FPS game or something, you idiot? This is a game where you catch many pokemon and you're meant to train each one individually and yet the expected obstacles are simply not there. Not only is levelling up in this game WAY faster, but you even have the possibility to completely neuter any need for effort at all whatsoever with exp share, which makes it even more of a joke than it already is.

I've never even had it turned on in the first place. You will still easily end up outlevelling gym leaders effortlessly because this game is casual garbage.
