Yeah, she plays a bunch. Mainly stuff like Banished. She played Civ for a while. She loves casual as shit games too, but hates anything like League, Cowadoody or Skyrim.

My ex-gf only played Skyrim for two years before she moved on to Fallout 3 and 4 and the Witcher series, so she'll get there... sooner or later. Just persevere and have hope, user.

I've been with mine since I was 17, she was 15. Met at a house party of a mutual friend and neither of us wanted to be there and were pressured in to going by other friends. If it didn't happen back then, I don't think it ever would have happened for me. She looks like a complete normie, but is a bit of an awkward sperge.

I managed to introduce my wife into PC-gaming by setting up a minecraft server and just messing around with her, we were having a blast.
After she got bored with minecraft, I bought Terraria for the two of us, which is pretty much better than minecraft, but also a little too complex for her. I have to explain a lot.
I've actually tried to get her son to join us as well, but he's not really into videogames.

Find something she likes (characters, a narrative, a game's artstyle) that isn't too difficult so she can stick with it and feel satisfied, and then when she enjoys it enough to finish one, she'll realise the worth in finishing games instead of just playing them.

She's not good at most non-racing games that require tons of reflex like fighting games and FPSes (especially multiplayer, but she's decent at FPSes that are played coop), she's also bad at platformers. She played the shit out of witcher 3 and she unironically loves bioware games. She's more interested in experience than "skill." She used to be very good at F-Zero GX. We played F-Zero X the other day and she won over half of the games. Funny enough, she does not have the patience for the technicalities of the Wipeout games. She likes WRPGs a lot. FFXII and FFXI are her favorite JRPGs and MMOs respectively. She's currently into Pokemon Go. I'm not because I've been invested in Ingress for a few years and don't have time to split between AR games.

I'm 25 and she is 24, I love her to death but she's just annoying as fuck when it comes to gaming, and she never shuts the fuck up about warcraft shit, she dragged me to the god awful movie.

She plays skyrim and minecraft. I used to flame her about playing normie games but I realized she innocently plays them for fun without wanting to look cool or pose as a "gamer" and felt like an asshole for teasing her about it a lot.
