The graphics are nice, but that's the only thing nice about it. People who complain about what we have now either didn't play 1.0, are blinded by nostalgia, or are the select few that have an abysmal idea of what fun is.

once you don't play it for a while you really can see how monotonous all the content is, even when they add new features and dungeons and "raids" it doesn't even give you anything satisfactory maybe a mount here and there is good but the gear is outdated within minutes of beating the hardest raid

99% of the people playing this type of games are self centered fucks. They aren't in for the multiplayer experience, or the social experience, the only thing that matters is self gratification, getting the cool gear to brag about it and more than anything else, being able to do all that without having to interact with other players as much as possible.
Because all you have in the middle between just starting and being at the end, is shit that doesn't matter and will never matter.
Social experience is fine, though they could encourage group play more at low levels.

I played it for a year and this is true. My first play through to 50 was before heavensward was even announced and nobody spoke or interested. Everybody expected you to know the inside out of a dungeon even after stating its your first time. I understand brushing up on boss mechanics before a fight, but damn, the Internet really ruined MMOS. And honestly, plainly put, most people that play this game are just fucking dicks

I've never had this happen, whenever I've asked about any mechanics people would always explain it if it can wipe a group. If nobody says anything or doesnt remember then you can just assume the boss is easymode
