>prebuilt
>gayming leds that make it go faster

yeah you did great

Please tell me you didn't buy a prebuilt with those specs in 2016.

>AMD

Holy shit c'mon not like I want to be stuck only to one brand but c'mon... AMD the driver updates alone(Or lack there of) will make you regret that, gave my GF the AMD card cause that shit sucks

No

nice bait idiot

Please tell me you didn't pay 700 pounds for that.

I built a machine with those same exact specs last year for 475$

Is this a bait thread?

Bane?

>V8

lol what a fucking shit pc
my secondary 3 years old pc is better than this shit

>AMD

peasant shitter
kill yourself

>AMD, especially the CPU
>Prebuilt
>Ricer
>Optical drive
>No SSD

I have some bad news OP...

>AMD processor
C'mon lad

Don't compare US prices with EU or UK prices. EU VAT is monstrous as are the import dutes, meaning it's a far more expensive hobby. That and your wages are generally lower. Prebuilts actually aren't that much more expensive over here compared to custom builds

that's a complete lie
you shouldn't pay more than 500 bucks for this pile of shit

OP fucked up but are there any good guides with part lists for the 500 dollar range? All the ones I can find on google shilled AMD. I don't know much but I know they are apparently shit.

Doesn't even hold a candle to my alienware laptop.

You fucked up, op

if that shit was a car it would have 6 reverse gears. V8? more like "built to W8"

>AMD processor
It's bait you fucking idiots

you shouldnt even steal that shit.

how's my build, it's my first time building a computer.

I've been told that my GPU is shit so reccomend any good ones for 200-300$.

>AMD
i'm so sorry

RX 480

NIGHTBANE?

reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/wiki/builds
Wait and see the 1060

>500 dollar range

The reason you're getting amd shilled to you is because it's your only option in that price range

Come up with another hundred dollars

Go on newegg and go figure

You probably can't get much for that price. I got an MSI R9 390 8GB. It's a pretty solid card for the price they offer you. It max goes 61 degrees on load for me. Only problem is you might hear the fan when it's on load, but it's not loud, just noticeable. So yeah consider checking out some reviews of it and benchmarks

Great apart from the 970

480, 390, or wait for the 1060

I saw the 1060 benchmarks and that things looks like some good shit for the price, I'll definitely pick it up. thanks, user

It's okay

Frenchfag here. Rate my future purchase.

That's quite nice PC build, to be quite honest.

If I were you I would be buying a CB radio so you can try to convince people in trucks not to kill you, but hey, its your money.

Yeh the only problem is the RAM isn't officially supported by the mobo anyhow.

Hey, don't be rude. He is a nice user, user.

Your mobo does support DDR4 memory, so I think it is compatible.

lol

But that was a serious suggestion

Just get a 1070. Vram is becoming more important for games and the 1060 has none.

Yeh but it has an official supported list here:
asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6 /index.us.asp?cat=Memory
And it does not mention the RAM I chose as officially supported. Though it should still work anyhow I guess since that's also the case for my current mobo.

While we're on the subject, any suggestions towards a 1070? Gigabyte, MSI, something else? Is there a considerable difference?

Whats wrong with 970?

Besides the fact that it's a previous gen card that is more expensive than AMDs 480, while also being slower?

Not to mention >3.5gb

To quote a previous user.
"You should always buy the card from the manufacturer that offers the best customer support.

Nowadays build-wise the quality of the cards across the various manufacturers is very similar, this is why they advertise how higher their clocks are and the fact they've got RGB leds to differentiate themselves.

So, you want to buy a card from a company that in case it breaks, will stand behind its product and help you get it replaced ASAP.

This is why you should go EVGA, if you can't get EVGA, buy MSI. While nowhere near as good as EVGA, MSI support is nowhere near as shit tier as the one from Gigabyte and Asus.

Speaking of those two companies, get their cards only if you are buying them from Amazon or another retailer that has amazon level customer support.

The only way gigabyte and asus will stand behind you if the card fails, is to fuck you up the ass not to help you."

>970
Wait for the 8-pin rx 480

You screwed up OP. The Red LEDs are the ones you want. They make it go faster at the price of temperature, but you make that up by the fact that they're fans.

yeah I'm just gonna wait for the 1060 instead

>400+$
nah friendo

yah friendo

R9 390/490, GTX 1070 for GPU. Replace the case with an NZXT S340, replace the PSU with a SeaSonic G/M12II series, or an EVGA G2/P2. Drop Windows 10, wtf nigger. Drop the external HDD. Drop the GAYMAN LE XD keyboard, just buy a fucking mechanical later.

I'll think about it but I can't justify the price

what is vram anyway? im a dumbass

that's pretty ok price for the prebuilt, 'merrikans will go all like ''HURR DUERR U CAN PAID 400$ FOR THAT IF U PIK PARTS URSELF''

And no, no you cant, not in europe

Basically, the more vRAM a card has, the more complex textures or 3D meshes it can load. The higher the resolution of the image you’re attempting to render, the more vRAM required. If the texture and images you’re attempting to run overload your GPU’s vRAM, the overflow goes to system RAM, significantly impacting performance in a negative way.

thanks user, still not convinced though. I saw some leaked benchmarks of the GTX 1060 and for half of the price of the 1070 it pulled some good results.

You don't think that fan curve is a little overkill? 80% at less than 60C?

>AMD
>ATI

Enjoy your house fire Klaus.

Intel doesn't have any good cheap CPUs. AMD rules the "$150 or less" CPU market.

You are now realizing that a i3 6100 will outperform a FX-8350 in most games.

Please buy an SSD user

>Slower

Needs more LEDs

Neck and neck in DX11, and pulls ahead in DX12/Vulkan

Plus, the consideration that AMD cards get pretty decent performance creep through the lifetime of the card, while Nvidia doesn't really optimize much outside the current generation.

>cpus matter for gaming

>Neck and neck in DX11, and pulls ahead in DX12/Vulkan
It isn't a month ago and that's been proven to not even be remotely true

Except for the shitty Vulkan part, but whats to be expected from an AMD made shit API like mantle

Keep dreaming it will take off

Have you been under a rock lately?

Especially with AMD cards, driver overhead is a thing.
Not to mention that AAA titles are starting to actually use the CPU these days.

You cannot possibly recommend a 970 over a 480 in good faith. To do so is blind fanboyism that ignores all past results.

>amd cpu
This is one of the few memes that are actually true. I had an 8350 over clocked and its night and day from my i7 4790k.

only in older games that still rely on single core performance. Modern games don't.
Also Intel blocks overclocking on low end processors. AMD FX chips overclock nicely even for $100

>You cannot possibly recommend a 970 over a 480 in good faith.
I'm not recommending anything, but it is a superior card

And if you want blind fanboyism we could discuss shitty drivers, throttling, heat issues and that whole burning out motherboards thing

>AMD FX chips overclock nicely even for $100
Too bad an overclocked top tier AMD cpu is still shit compared to a low end stock Intel CPU

>shitty drivers
meme
>throttling
>heat issues
only the reference card
>burning out motherboards
it never actually burned motherboards and they fixed the power draw with a driver update

Custom 480 will clock much higher than the stock version. This has been confirmed by multiple leaks and multiple tests that put a good cooler on the reference cards.

Zen release when? I'm tired of waiting.

>This has been confirmed by multiple leaks and multiple tests
Like those leaks that confirmed the 480 was superior to a 980 and within range of a 1070?

Ill bet

>cpus don't matter for gaming

Enjoy your stuttering, bottlenecked mess. Stick to consoles, kid.

But it IS better than a 970 and easily on par with a 1070.

...

those rumors were based on the custom versions, which will have stock clocks in the range of 1350-1400Mhz and OC to 1500-1600Mhz. This puts them well past the 980 and in Fury, Fury X or 980ti territory.

Yeah, because AMD relying brute force has worked so well for them in the past.

...

>500GB
>FX 4 CORE not 8 core
>A FUCKIN Radeon 7750

You can definitely do way better than this you retarded nig nog

>he fell for the 3.5 GiB VRAM meme

LMAO
