A post apocalyptic multiplayer text based game is entirely Free2play with absolutely no options to pay at all.
It has full loot PVP, if someone kills your ass, they get to take everything from you.
But Sup Forums is too casual to play it.

How is LoL pay to win?
From my understanding you can buy skins, heroes, and name/region change.
The runes are bought with IP, same with the heroes. You can't but runes with real money. Plus all Tier 2 Runes are 1 IP, meaning just one game can get you like 2 pages of runes. Not sure when tier 3 are free, most likely when the new Client comes out.
>It has full loot PVP, if someone kills your ass, they get to take everything from you.
if I wanted to play turn based pvp I'd be playing Duelyst
You literally can't buy anything except for cosmetic stuff
I thought Warframe has p2notgrind?
It's pay to reduce gring which is basically one form of P2W accoring to Sup Forums.
By Free To Play, do you mean all freeware or just those that have pay stuff in them? Because there's a ton of good freeware (and some nice shareware although that's mostly fallen out of practice)
Pay to not grind is p2w. I know you fags want to say it's not, but as someone who is Plat/ diamond every single season except the most recent because I quit, it's p2w, and a shit f2p model. The fact you people still support this f2p model blows my mind.
Not only this, but if you are paying for champions, you get to save up for Runes and Rune Pages, which you will need to actually stand a chance.
LoL isnt directly pay-to-win, but you will need hundreds of extra games to catch up to someone that buys champions.

Warframe, you can just grind for everything.

That's not pay to win you stupid babby. I placed 40ish in the last race season and I don't have any. It's not a fucking competition outside of races. So kill yourself faggot.
Pro tip: if money can in any way impact the actual gameplay, it's P2W. Period.
Runescape's F2P mode because you can't use members items in F2P worlds.
I go back to my original post then. Dota 2.
Paragon.
Path of exile.
Player A and player B level up to 30. They keep all of their IP.
Player A spends $0 and buys characters with IP. He now has no runes and when he finally gets enough time put into the game to proceed into ranked, he doesn't have a wide selection.
Player B spends $X and buys characters with real money, then spends IP on runes. He's able to proceed into ranked eventually with a stronger roster and can provide more picks for his team.
Imagine this scenario where player A with 15 characters unlocked queues ranked, along with player B who has 50 characters unlocked.
Player A is first pick, but he can't pick the most OP shit because he doesn't have them unlocked. He only has a few to select from. Player B is able to select a wide variety because he spent money to unlock more. Both players at this point have played the same amount of time.
One can argue "but you can unlock everything if you just put the time in!"; The key thing here is that a player with a wider variety of characters will have a much easier time progressing in ranked - something you can have an advantage in by paying real currency. This wouldn't matter in the slightest if characters were balanced, but they aren't. They never are, there is always a small portion of the roster that is objectively better than others and if you're not picking along with the meta, you're playing at a massive disadvantage - a disadvantage you can overcome with paying real money.
>You can only buy cosmetic stuff in PoE
>>What about these items that aren't cosmetic?
>FUCK YOU THOSE AREN'T P2W KILL YOURSELF
Path of Exile, not even once.
pay to reduce grind is pay to win when the only grind is pvp
Stash tabs literally impact the actual gameplay.
yeah but when the grind is pretty much the gameplay itself it's useless to pay
They impact how much you can store. As a competitive player, I've never purchased any, and use the 4 I'm given. Mixing that with 3rd party tool to sell my shit. What's pay to win about more storage, literally? Btw, only reply if you race or have competed in a hardcore league past 90. Otherwise kill yourself.
Kids haven't played any old "free to play" Korean MMOs so they think that anything where you can buy ingame progress is pay2win
It is. If content of the game is locked, it's p2w. Period.

Also I love how people STILL fellate to memecore while 99% of the players ever just have macros for closing the game.
Dokkan Battle
The dragon stones are easy enough to come by and throwing money will not necessarily get you the SSR you need.
In a game like LoL, a huge part of winning is picking a good team, which means that you need to have access to a wide array of characters to choose from to be sure that in any given game, you have a good chance to play a character that is A) relevant to the specific round at hand, and B) you're not terrible at. It's a huge disadvantage to not have access to all the characters, and there are SO MANY that cost SO MUCH IP that it simply isn't in any way reasonable that you can expect the average player to play anywhere near enough to get all the characters. The skins are fine, because they don't affect gameplay and LoL doesn't have any art direction to ruin with wacky skins to begin with. So even though it's TECHNICALLY just pay2notgrind and not strictly pay2win, when the cost is so high, and Riot can rely on people not thinking about how much they would have to play to get an unlock (or God forbid, all of them), or focussing on the fact that it's technically possible to do it without paying despite the fact that they may as well just have made every single character unlock after 2 gorillion hours if you don't pay.
Nice so you don't even play the game and you're going on about "muh storage"
Glad you joined in to scream about f2p you fucking broke moron

TF2 is p2w in the same way as LoL is. It's pay2notgrind. Also not all weapons are balanced enough to make it not p2w. There are still weapons that are objectively better than default weapons in >90% of situations.
>Urban Terror
Mah nizzle!
Literally any F2P singleplayer game.
Only content locked behind a pay wall is cosmetic shit and if you honestly think getting runes and champions is impossible without RP then you are a confirmed shitter

I played it from time to time but I gave up because until you get to maps, it's shit. After that it's grind your balls off for maps in maps maps maps maps so you can get currency to get gear because you'll never be lucky enough to get proper drops anyhow.
I hear it somewhat changed at one point but I wasn't going to return to check it out because I had been lied so many times before about stuff being fixed.
>Desync has been fixed!!!! (Not really)
For fucking years on end. Also the fucking trashy elitist snob community and people like you.
You can say that it's not Pay to Win but more stash/storage space DOES affect the gameplay. It certainly isn't cosmetic.
Okay for one fucking thing TF2 is NOT pay2win like LoL is, not by a fucking longshot: you actually get guns at a reasonable rate, and can craft them easily; if it took 50 hours to unlock a single rocket launcher, or if you only started with the Soldier and the Heavy classes and had to play 100 hours to unlock each of the others, then you could compare it to LoL grind, but naaah...plus, the default weapons for all classes are always a good choice. What weapons do you think are objectively better than stock?
Oh and let's not forget
>Yeah this patch made your build shit xD, level up again please! (Hope you enjoy the boring as fuck leveling & content!)
>Repeat
>Repeat
Also the whole Sphere Grid retains the same flaw it had in FFX. Everything is fucking samey.
Explain one weapon that is more of an upgrade than a sidegrade. The quick fix is all that comes to mind and thats easily refutable.
No ones debated about evolve either.
Only truly-unbalanced weapon I can recall was the Machina for its AWP-tier body-shot kills. Maybe that dragon minigun too.
Anything else had some strong limitations on where it was useful and how, but if there's any further exceptions, remind me of what they are.
It's actually a good game for free, but I can feel the pain of those who have bought it.
You guys I like
How active is this nowadays? Used to have heaps of fun with this a few years ago
A lot of melee stock weapons are completely pointless, even with the drawbacks that some alternate weapons have it's better than having a slot you'll sometimes never touch otherwise
>you gained fetish points in pedophilia!
do you get many chances to do this sort of shit?

Yes. That screenshot is a starting area.
>dragon minigun
You mean the one that only has a ring of fire around you when you shoot it? The one thats purely cosmetic?
Oh yeah becaude people definetely pay 10 dollars for items that take a week to get.
Most stock melees are shit in TF2. The only ones with any redeeming qualities are the bottle, kukri, and knife.
>bat
DPS is garbage compared to both other melees and to the scattergun/pistol. Atomizer is miles better for utility (and has the hilarious taunt kill), there's zero reason not to have it equipped.
>shovel
The only soldier melee worse than the shovel is the half-zatoichi
>fire axe
Literally no reason not to use the powerjack. That speed boost is huge, especially after the spy speed buff.
>bottle
Again, this one is redeemable simply because demo has no other viable short-range weapon. Caber is shit after GunMettle (RIP) and swords got nerfed with demoknighting as a whole
>fists
Fists of Steel if you're defending, GRU if you're attacking, KGB if you're fucking around.
>Wrench
Jag.
>bone saw
If you're playing medic and not using the Ubersaw, you need to stop.
>Kukri
It's fine, but only if you're not using Jarate. Otherwise bust out the Bushwacka.
>knife
Spy probably has the most balanced set of melees in the game and for good reason. Spycicle has its uses, YER and Kunai are always good fun once you get that first stab, big earner got a buff, but the stock is the most reliable.

A melee weapon is literally there for close combat.
What else could it fucking have that would make it not useless?!
That's pretty much a cosmetic. you don't use all that space.
>Having more space to stuff in-game items in for later use is cosmetic because I say so
The denial is real.
What does that have to do with me answering the question of "which weapons are an upgrade over stock"
>What else could it fucking have that would make it not useless
Gee, how about the beneficial effects that certain alternate weapons have
Medics are more likely to heal you.
confirmed for being fucking garbage at tf2
Dota and POE arent pay2win. World of tanks isnt pay2win either its pay2notgrind.
>League of Legends
>Pay to Win
>For cosmetics
Oh yeah I forgot about the equalizer and shit, true. Still though, having a couple of melee weapons that are a slight upgrade compared to stock doesn't exactly put it anywhere near LoL, both the rate at which things drop, and the fact that you have access to all characters and all stock weapons from the start and the fact that you can craft all serve to remove it from the pay2win model.
>Runes & champions themselves are cosmetics
?
>jag
Oh ok so you're just shit at the game and acting like you know anything about balance. Thanks for clearing that up.
Oh woops wrong post my bad senpai.
user, I play medic half the time and I don't give a single shit about what others are wearing. The only players I heal more often is the ones that play better.
