I would like to get in to Xenoverse 2 but but in the mean time what other DBZ game does Sup Forums recommend from the PS3/PS4 era so I can get my DB fix?
Last game I played was Burst Limit and pretty much ignored all the games that came after that. Im probably a little late to Xenoverse 1 so what other DBZ game is out there worth it?
Extra points if SSJ4 are playable characters.

That wasn't even my main problem with it, it was the fact that it was just fucking endless.
Who thought it was a good idea to give each and every one of the 100+ characters a minimum of 10 stages to clear to unlock their moves and the other characters/forms? By the time you get halfway through you're already completely burned out on the game.

You're probably (sadly) going to need it in order to understand just how shitty Xenoverse is going to be.
RB series doesn't have GT characters. RB1 has a story mode for Z. RB2 has more characters from movies and keeps the What-ifs SSJ3 Broly and Vegeta, but doesnt have a story just a galaxy mode where you fight a bunch of times for each playable character for unlocking shit. So if you want story play RB1, if you want more variety Duel in RB2.
Anyways, it would actually be better to pick back Tenkaichi 3, or Burst Limit. Or one of those DS or 3DS games
If you want to try Battle of Z just play the demo to see how shitty it is.

No, Dragonball Online is an actual (Asia only) MMO that released years ago. That's what set the canon timeline for post-DBZ, and it's what Xenoverse's storyline eventually leads into.
The only good DBZ game in the last decade was Budokai HD which is just a shitty version of Budokai and 3.
