Jake's campaign is one of the worst things I've ever played. This shit is nearly Sonic 06 levels of bad. I don't understand; Leon's was actually pretty decent. Why is Jake's so terrible? Did they have entirely different dev teams or what? Please tell me Chris's isn't this bad. Sherry is hot as fuck though.
RE6
I only played Leon's but that was beyond bad. The core gameplay is absolutely shocking.
The gunplay works when the game isn't throwing tons of enemies at you. The extra mobility opens up your options considerably. Leon's campaign was pretty balanced as far as what it asked of you in terms of enemy count. Jake's is ridiculous though. Seemingly endless enemies (many of which stand around doing nothing), a hilariously bad miniboss, the world's worst snow level, and a stealth sequence so simple and boring it reminds me of the original Hulk movie game on PS2. All within the first two hours. It's terrible. Leon's wasn't great but it was far better than this.
The campaign's in this game were more like test beds to see what people would like from future releases.
Obviously, they fucked up the entire thing (minus Sherry's sweet ass) but the point still stands. I think they talked about the most played campaign and a bunch of other statistics in an interview.
Campain Tier List: Leon's > Chris's > Ada's > Jake's
Also Helena is hotter than Sherry.
The game doesn't really tell you how to play. The 'prologue' was fucking dumb and only tells you the very basic mechanics. There's tons of movement options and abilities and the melee system is really fucking fun but they did such a bad job of showing you all of this that most people hated it.
Kind of a shame but at least the game is really fucking huge so there's lots to replay. can't say I really care about the direction RE7 went in at all.
Here's the thing. They really shouldn't have been full campaigns. It should have been trad offs. Leon's 1st act is the best of three. Jake had the best 2nd act and Chris had the best 3rd. If they just combined the three, it would have been much better.
I don't like Helena's manface.
>that
>manface
But I guess it is compared to the kawaii anime face that Sherry has.
>campaign
Why is every single player or story mode called a campaign these days.
Up until the Church, Leon's campaign was very good. It was almost like I was playing a resident evil game with closed spaces in one part and trying to escape a dying city in the other.
Too bad he's being dragged around by girls the entire time though. Either chasing Helena, Sherry, both Adas, he doesn't do much aside from uploading the C-virus data to Hunnigan at the end.
I just really don't like how difficult the game is
>Enemies take 1 million bullets to kill
>ammo pretty much never drops
>it's easier to kill enemies with melee attacks
>Health is even rarer than the ammo
>and you go through it like it's nothing
>if you didn't have your partner in the game you would be fucked
cod4's popularity
It's mostly BS how hard the game tries to sucker punch you and try to steal hp at any moment. Like the lunging zombie in the university in Leon's chapter or the various car crashes in the city. And not to mention that I've died several times during cutscenes since they sometimes don't stop enemies, more so if you have agent hunt active
...
Sherry was the only good thing about Jake's campaign.
the lunges have a "magnetic" quality that makes them impossible to dodge sometimes, it's bullshit
...
And there it is.
...
where are you FatCocks?
...
dem toes

>dat bulge
kek i had that hulk game on xbox shit sucked

...
Resident Evil 6 is what happens when the developers go, "Hey, you actually CAN please all of the people all of the time! Let's do it!"
...
re5 is absolutely amazing
Jake's campaign is probably my favorite. Even with that shitty not-Nemesis.
The Mercs and Lost in Nightmares are great, but I wasn't a fan of most of the campaign.
