You have two options right now: FXAA or increasing render quality

FXAA does almost nothing and upping the render quality halves your FPS in an already very unoptimized game. No anti aliasing means it's very hard to spot people as well because everything is a shimmering mess.

The netcode is fine, the problem is that they are using the advanced vehicle prototype to try to create ultra realistic cars and that's way to much information to be sending back and forth when you have a fleet.

They developers don't understand that the entire world isn't running fiber in their homes yet. You can't be using tire physics as your source of locomotion.

We just broke a few during a 10 day field problem and we just got "new" DVH Strykers from General Dynamics last month to replace our old flat bottoms. One of them broke before we even made it to the field, the pulley on the generator sheered off and bounced around the engine compartment on the highway.

They would probably be great if they worked as intended, since Stryker brigades are suppose to bridge the gap between armored and light units, but instead we just spend a lot of time digging them out of ditches, replacing tires, fixing leaks and complaining about not having enough room for all of our shit.

Im pretty tired of all these newfags who think SQUAD is just a military game and has no real aim. They've never played PR and want this successor to not be like it at all

People were complaining about vehicles and wanting a game focused on CQB, so "having vehicles" isn't really a plus.

In addition, at the ranges you would be fighting at on almost all Insurgency maps, you wouldn't notice any difference between hitscan and realistic projectiles.

The biggest issue with Insurgency is the map selection. They are all bottleneck tier shit.

When most people say "taxi" in PR they are referring to someone just grabbing a vehicle, driving up to the front line, and then promptly abandoning it. Properly used, the APCs transport the squad to the target, the squad dismounts, and then the APC supports the squad with its heavier weapons. The infantry squads almost never man the APCs themselves

Walking for 20 minutes is not realism, nor is what should constitute for one. PR doesn't have realistic ballistics, doesn't have realistic health system, doesn't have realistic movement, doesn't have realistic stamina, doesn't have realistic physics. It doesn't have fucking realistic anything. Just because you don't respawn after 5 seconds directly where you died it doesn't mean its some kind of muh speshll forces simualtor for entitled elitism shitlords.
