Starbound is the game that had a kickstarter that was concept art disguised as ingame screenshots, and the group that didn't even have a coder until roughly 1 and a half years into the project. Their one talent is decent pixel art, and even that isn't incredible.

Try going after ice mimic's for some weapons. Getting ore to make the new set is really easy. Just check your map to see good veins. Also once you have Orchalicum/Mythril or Ademantium/Titanium fight the Destroyer, easiest mechanical boss to get some hallowed bars and super health potions.
