Gave TW 1 a chance and I got bored and my opinion was that it was mere garbage after 1 or 2 hours of gameplay
Gave TW 2 a chance and got bored after even less time on 30 minutes of gameplay
I made the fucking mistake a third time and gave TW 3 a chance and not long before 15 minutes I was already regretting even pirating this garbage game.

This, I bought it off Steam sale and played for a few hours. It was nothing but a talking simulator with the odd time you get to go out on your horse and gallop trough a an empty boring world.

The """gameplay""", i.e the combat, was absolute trash.

I don't understand how Sup Forums shits all over shitty movie games then defends this, when in reality the only positive aspect is the conversation simulator part, which is basically a fucking interactive cutscene.

The Witcher 3 and games like it don't have a story. They have an excuse. It's an excuse for a male power fantasy that pretends to be a story. And depending on how much of a grip male power fantasies have on you, you'll sooner or later just find that you're asking yourself 'why am I doing this?' Why are you? You have no real motivation.

And yes, there are people from various talented vocations from writers, to actors, to painters who'll tell you that motivation in a story is important. And 'male power fantasy' is only so much of a motivation to a certain group of people. You'll have people that tell us that we don't like RPGs, which is brain rot because I've loved plenty of RPGs. I just like RPGs that have a story.
