If it is a remaster, I hope they fix some things like the radio calls getting interrupted by any action or the jeep boss respawning for no reason. That stuff wasn't fun.

Needs the infinite zombie mode as an official option not a "kill X zombies in the tutorial to unlock" jump through hoops bollocks. I want a sandbox adventure in zombie killing, not some boring race against the clock bullshit.

You may as well give Best Dad Simulator a try. DR2 is a sequel, but not a direct one. The most you'll get spoilered is mentions of the "outbreak" and bees.
That said, DR2 is notorious for going too fast, so be sure to download the timescale trainer if you want to kick back and enjoy yourself.

Untrue. Microsoft themselves has said that DR4 is Windows 10 Exclusive for 90 days and Xbox One Exclusive for one year. After that, it will be available on other OSes and PS4.

I wish they would do a total remake and look at the 'Groundhog Day' style system it has. At the beginning it felt like the end goal was to do so well that you have a perfect run. Even saving the survivors in the intro.

That has never been possible. Even if you clear all nearby zombies, the game will still consider them dead.

Well so far we only know because the PS4 trophies leaked, I don't expect that information to be known until the game is officially announced, though it's far to assume it's going to come at least to PC considering Capcom recent actions.

It's on the way out in media in general. It peaked around 2013/14 I'd say.

It has its fair share of flaws that really keep it from being sold bold. It's a great game regardless. Play this first because you're gonna be a bit frustrated coming back from 2/OTR/3 and the lack of certain control

Besides, Backup for Brad gives you like 20 years to complete before you run out of time, and it's ample time to get the random sandboxing zombie-killing out of your system.

The time limit is honestly the main thing I love in this game. This and having so many weapons at your disposal.

Not much. I'm pretty sure Microsoft realized what a fuckup the Xbone was so they're just keeping it alive for the remainder of the generation while shifting focus more toward their PC marketplace. I doubt we'll see a new Xbox after this generation is through.

The game needs the time limit for the sake of pacing, otherwise their is no urgency. The sandbox get's dull after a while and the zombies quickly stop posing a threat and become more just an obstacle. The real challenge in the game always came from the time management and the boss fights.

I'd love for it to come out on a new console untouched, but I can see them trying to "fix" it like that.

This is the one thing I really dislike about my PS4, especially since it can already stream PS3 games through Playstation Now.

Best story in my own possibly shit opinion. There are serious flaws however.

Can be cheesy as fuck at times

All in all its a fun zombie game if you can look past a few flaws and just have fun with it.
