Try console gaming

...

too expensive

Project zomboid, paradoxes grand strategies, terraria, minecraft

What classifies as a toaster, I like to thing Source Engine 2.5 and there about

This is actually a pretty good idea. You could emulate a lot of old games even on a toaster.

The Longest Journey
DOOM
Mass Effect
Witcher 1
Rome/Medieval 2 TW
Fallout 1 and 2

Doom.

The Doom 4 gameplay mod is out for it now too.

Is that Starcraft 2?

The GBA and N64 and SNES emulation alone would easily give you 3000 hours of game time.

>paradoxes grand strategies
Stellaris runs like fucking shit though

>doom
>running on toaster

nigger you fucking serious

you know the doom that came out a few months ago isn't the first?

>Forgetting there was a doom made before this decade

Underrail my nigga.

Underrail

> how to spot the underage

then why it's name isn't doom 2

damn thats a good point.................

...

...

>Witcher 1
You're joking, right? Witcher 1 is even worse than Dark Souls 1 at running on toasters.

think your computer's just a toaster user

it seems that i won...
...there's only one doom

Wat game

Lengthy Blackness

Why don't you try using google faggot?

>minecraft
>running on toasters
not if java has anything to say

Try the old infinty engine games;
Baldur's Gate series
Icewind Dale series
Planescape: Torment

Enhanced Editions are availble

The Big Black

I get that this is bait but Doom can probably run on a literal toaster

Here's another free (you) since you seem to be craving them so much.

Actually, is right.
Aurora Engine was so badly optimized it could sometimes overheat even modern GPU's, similar to Titan Quest. Even if Witcher 1 is more optimized, you can't really meld honey out of shit.

>mass effect
thats not a toaster user.

>DOOM
if you mean the original

>topic
morrowind from my experiences works on most toasters.

ĐiệnWorlds

thetagames.itch.io/dienworlds

Dark Souls with Durante's fix work on incredibly shitty machines.

Quake

-build engine games (doom, duke nukem 3d, - blood, shadow warrior etc)
- roller coaster tycoon 2
- deus ex
- half life 1
- unreal and unreal tournament 99
- infinity engine games (baldurs gate, planescape torment, etc)
- dungeon keeper 1
- early command and conquer games
- quake 1-3
- fallout 1 & 2
- system shock 2
- worms armageddon
- thief 1 & 2

just a few games that came to my mind.
games listed in no particular order.
there are plenty of great old games than can be played on toasters.

That's how I run it. But I still have to go down below 640x480 to get above 20 fps. It's pretty funny to watch Sup Forums whinging all the time about games looking like shit at 1920x1080 and 60 fps.

wow really any link ??

Sure, make sure you rebind your keys to take advantage of the new functions.

Any games like this that can run on toasters?

OP try gamecube emulation its really great i have a toaster too.
core 2 duo 2.4 ghz e6600
2gb ram
amd 5450. and GameCube games run amazing. even alot of wii games too like tatsunoko vs capcom. and almost all gamecube games thst i have tried run really nicely. just dont get afraid of tinkering with settings

...

ty bro the latest mod i tried on doom was doom64 was really great but the levels are a little too hard i really got frustrated and droped it

Uplink.

What a glorious little game that is.

System Shock 2
Morrowind
Transistor
Torchlight
Terraria
Spellforce 2

Would thief 1/2 run on a toaster? if so, they're excellent games

Half Life maybe?
Day of Defeat?

What did you do with your settings?

spend 90euro on this and it will become top tier

E6700 here @ 2.9
4 gb ram ddr2
650 Ti OC Edition

Im playing metro 2033 at 50-130 fps

toaster is a relative fucking term. it needs a 3d accelerator and 64mb ram at least id say.

Not OP, recommend me some GC games toaster approved.

nothing special i mostly use auto windows size which is 1024x768 and efb to textures and ram and some other stuff bssically if you put mouse over a certain setting it will give you details about it and will also tell you that weather it improves quality or performance. dolphin is literally the best emulator

Mass effect ran fine on my gf's piece of shit 5 year old integrated card laptop

>use google!
>ice + wolves + aurora borealis game

GEE FAGGOT I WONDER WHY THERE'S NO RESULTS

GIB NAME

Is this bait? He meant for you to use reverse image search.

VtMB nigga, it's a 2004 game made on source.

>wario world.
>twilight princess.
>currently playing paper Mario ttyd. shits cash but if you have a toaster use efb to both texture and ram and use native resolution its pretty much all right but when something turns into paper fps really really drop.

>final fantasy crystal chronicles.
>GameCube version of spider man 2 is really great too.
>metroid prime 1 and 2

and if you want hidden gems . head over to emuparadise.me

Not sure if bait or retard, image search he meant.

Thats like mine laptop and i played all mass effect saga with medium settings and ~45 fps

Dumbass.

Found the Woman

...

if you buy a toaster that was released fairly recently you can probably play games that were released from around 2001 and before with absolutely no problem, and most new indie games as well

Yes, can confirm that they both run perfectly..

Stalker?

Warband runs on everything

>Post games that aren't graphically intensive/can run on toasters
TES games run on toasters, including daggerfall if you can make it work with your os.
M&B Warband is also a great option.

PC exclusives: The thread

At least post shit that still looks nice.

Why IS MT Framework so great, anyway?

Because the games created on it are built and optimized for PC, and later ported to consoles.

What is this? It looks quite nice.

mapcore.org/topic/19822-quake-1-sp-mod-arcane-dimensions/

Quake: Arcane Dimensions

Play dungeon crawlers. Your toaster can run all of them.

Thank you.

That doesn't explain it. Other PC games created during that time were still too much for the average toaster. Most professionally made PC games need some relatively powerful hardware as of the time they were created in order to run on their highest settings.

DMC4 was ridiculous.

Recommend any modern ones for PC?

Flatout and Flatout 2

It shouldn't be a problem. Actual toasters today have about 512mb ram.

go play the classics first

Grimrock on low/medium settings.

What game OP?

F.E.A.R. is pretty toaster friendly, suprisingly.

Fucking hated the first one, Felt more like a tedious puzzle game

forum.unity3d.com/threads/my-cyberpunk-rpg-project-top-down-fallout-3-dreamweb.342741/

To each their own, the midgame got really boring really fast but I loved the rest.

Image search motherfuckers. Lucky is spoonfeeding you.

Elona+
Dwarf Fortress
DCSS
Angband
TOME
Space Station 13

Paper Sorcerer

Don't be an agile cock man. Nothing wrong with giving out the source.

That game is shit.

I like lovecraftian everything, but that was just repetitive slog, you just hide behind corners and throw rocks at everything.

Lethal league
Aces wild: maniac brawling
the DOOM's
Fez
Freedom Planet
Binding of isaac and the remake
rocket league?
shovel knight
risk of rain
emulate gamecube and ps2, praise based dolphin 5.0
fucking...minecraft
thats all I got

And many more

bump

What's that thing you can do to some modern games to lower graphical quality and play using minimal/no textures?
