This is my least favourite final fantasy and one of my least favourite games ever. First time playing it and none of the other FF's had me this bored. At bikanel island right now walking from random encounter to random encounter in an empty desert. Does it get better?

play FFV, VI, VII or IX instead. best games in the main numbered series. rest vary from good to as bad as X and in the case of XIII, worse.

FFV? Been told that one was mediocre. Quite enjoyed the job system of FFIII so i am still willing to give it a shot. VI and IX are on my list and i've already done VII

storywise it's still the same paper thin premise involving crystals, Square didn't really get serious about the story until VI. but the gameplay is solid and it's not a linear shitfest like X being interrupted every 5 seconds by awful cringey cutscenes.

Rikku is used for stealing and mixing items. But also since the game is so easy, she can be used as a replacement for Tidus' basic attacks for non guarded or flying enemies. She also has the fastest speed in the game so, despite being weaker, she can get more attacks in.

What did you expect from a fucking FF game. The Japanese are a pathetic race who can't even do proper storytelling. They write shitty FF games. They write shitty animus. They wrote shitty Tohou fanfic "plots". We need to stop the whole "Tojo Maeks Vidyakink meme".
