Strictly from a financial point of view, that'd give the largest cut of the money. Not to mention starting the project himself means he now has to pay other people, where as before that was all on H-Bomb I think.

Hbomb leaked what he had of the game and early on Purple was DMCAing and reporting posts for spreading the MEGA link.

You dont ditch a crowdfunded project without telling anyone and you certainly start a new one at the same time.

Nor do you purposely kill any chance the old project has of existing by claiming half the assets just to spite someone.

Both of these things a huge jew moves that people that arnt assholes wouldnt do.

Programming isn't as minor as you think, especially with him getting half the pay to sit on his ass

Say what you will about kickstarter, but patreon is the biggest scam in history.
You're paying someone to exist and occasionally prove they're 'working' on something.
With kickstarter, you pay for the contract, that's it. High motivation for them to get it done, release it, and make sure it's good so they can launch another kickstarter.
With patreon, the motivation is to have it go on as long as possible while updating the page just enough to keep people hooked. I imagine if you compared the work ethic of a kickstarter dev to a patreon dev, it would be like 4 times the amount of work done over the same amount of time.

His contract stated he could. The project itself was dieing, leaving the assets would have only stalled it a little while longer. You can't say theres a chance the project would have been finished when H-Bomb shut the project down rather than hire new artists.

the shakiest response s-purple made is on one of the most important things, IE why he wanted to kill breeding season by disallowing Hbomb from using his art. he claims that it's because he doesn't want patrons giving money to a project that will never be complete, but this is a bit ridiculous as anyone would assume that once people know that everyone has quit (s-purple claimed a few times that this was what was going to happen soon), then people would not want to give money to a project that's in serious trouble and only has a programmer.

it seems far more likely to me that he wanted to kill breeding season because either A; he's spiteful and wants to get back at Hbomb, or B; it's monetary competition for his new game, or possibly both.
