All those weapons are functional and ooze style. Ludwig's Holy Blade is so painfully slow it what is supposed to be a fast-paced game. About the only thing I can think of that the weapon has going for it is its trick attacks, but at that point, you might as well use the boomhammer.

I don't care if it's only good in half the soulsborne games, it always winds up being my primary weapon.
You can't imagine how happy I was to get it again in Bloodborne.

I chose Ludwig's because I'm a huge Berserkfag and Ludwig's was the biggest sword I could find. Dark Souls III is so far the only one where I couldn't beat a boss with a big ass sword, I had to swap out my Ultra Greatsword to beat Champion Gundyr.

The pizza cutter is just GOAT for me. Untricked form is a good balance of speed, power, and range, and the tricked form just feels so fun to use. Maybe not the strongest weapon or 'best' but revving that shit up and going to town on them never gets old.

The only reason the MGS isn't my favorite weapon in BB is because of that. The split damage is shit and using bullets defeat a bit of its purpose. Pizza cutter best weaponfu.

Fuck, the L2 is as powerful as a charged R2, has some decent range, and will frenzy an invader in 2 hits. I think between the two of us combined, we could technically get off 14 hits with L2 without killing ourselves from frenzy damage.

I just tried using this shit and gave up in the last couple of days. Its bad when the hammer looks like it is going through the middle of an enemy, and you STILL only get knick damage. Fuck that shit. Hell, I couldn't even seem to stagger Darkbeast Paarl with it the way I normally did with the Axe.

as long as you have 50 SKL or BLT, you'll shit out dmg for either weapon. Assuming decent gems and at +10

Weapons that ONLY do Blunt Damage (Wheel and Beast Cutter) have an advantage over Physical Weapons though: Blunt gems go to 32% instead of Physical Gems which go to 27%, of course they mean any attacks that armt blunt damage (like Hammer's untricked mode) won't do decent damage at all.

But a Church Pick or Chikage/Bloodletter with 3 32% Thrust or Bloodtinge Gems would be ever better because you get the % boost AND a better damage type.

I never stopped using, it's fun to use, incredibly versatile and the skill scaling gets pretty good when you upgrade it.

BoM's strength is its DPS like with the Saw Spear and getting out of combos with its L2 like with the saif's transformation attacks. Though its weakness is its range since you do need to get really close to hit things and hard to hit weakness like head areas(I tend to pair mine with either the cane or pick)'

Cane has range and able to deal different attacks(slash/thrust and holy/serrated)
Saw spear has dps and serration in both forms
Saif more skl quality has stupid amount of AR and mentioned TF attacks to close in and out like the BoM
Burial Blade has range of excellent rally like the hunters axe so you can trade hits easily
Church Pick. thrust dmg for days and also being holy/serrated for all of its thrust atks make it a pve destroyer
Rakuyo, has hyperarmor atks for a skl weapon and high AR for skl builds
Reiterpallasch, fast and being able to parry for its TF attack
Rifle spear, ehhh I'd say this is the worst skl weapon in the game as the long thing its got is its charge r2 while transformed. I mean yeah its got range but good luck trying to hitting anything that moves and plus the pick is better in every way

Really digging the BoM so far. Wanna try the Rakuyo with high SKL, but just thinking about getting it again gives me nightmares.

You can just use a standard BT build, because you will never use the 1H form. That said, it comes so late in the game that you'll probably just use the Chikage instead.
