I'm looking forward to it but I can't understand the hype desu. Nigga all you got to go on so far is carefully released promotional press material. we know literally NOTHING of the game except for what the guys selling it WANT us to know at this point.
So far there is no hands-off gameplay ANYWHERE. Hell in some demos he even said that they made it so certain stuff would spawn for the demo. The game could come out and the generation could be a total shitshow leaving you with 90% boring bland ass planets.
Fuck, I mean already, watching promo for this game my buzzword sense is tingling. Yeah yeah, "18 billion possibilities" yeah sure, switch a bit around and you got something "new" but how much does it differentiate itself from others? How much shit do you have available to combo to create that number? Fun fact: you can organize a deck of cards in 80 unvigintillion ways. (that's an 80 and 66 zeroes if you're curious) yet it's still just re-arranging of the same 52 cards and a lot of those are gonna feel near identical. The game can only have so many models anyway. so how different is a planet gonna feel just because the gras is a slightly different colour, or that one tiger like mob doesn't spawn on this planet, or that Dino thing is gonna be purple this time. There is gonna be WAY more "Yeah I saw that one too but it was blue" than "Oh really? I never saw that on any planet!"
We don't know how it plays we don't know how grindy it's gonna be. Sure look forward to it, but anyone being "super hype" for a game they know nothing about is fucking retarded.
