>when you spend 55 hours playing a game to then get a shit ending without knowing and having an hour or two of content taken away and credits roll out of nowhere
Seriously who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
I can't even go back to where I was and change my choice rather than starting the entire fucking game over again just to get the true ending.
Bentley Phillips
Good for you on making it this far. I tried playing this game twice because it gets paraded around so often here but I never made it past Kanji's arc. I just stopped playing out of boredom.
Maybe when I attempt it again in the future I should pick the hardest difficulty setting to not get too bored with it
Asher Stewart
Please tell me you didn't just use a single save file, and then write over it with clear data. I mean, no one is that retarded, right?
Also, >an hour or two of content taken away I'm currently playing through P4G right now, and I've already played for like 15 hours past the point where you can get the bad endings.
Easton Ortiz
Yeah be sure to spend an hour researching the most exact dialogue options to choose or else you'll get fucked out of an ending.
You can tell a game is real good if you literally need to look shit up to get the right ending
Landon Phillips
The game fucking tells you that shit is getting real and that you should save, your own fault you only used one save slot like an idiot.
Cooper Evans
>game forces you to savescum
what is this, undertale?
And since I'm not a pussy faggot who savescums in any game I wouldn't think to savescum in this shit, why would I need multiple saves if I didn't know about this ending?
Jackson Gutierrez
>guy is obviously not the true culprit >only one dialogue option in each set isn't "throw him in" >throw him on >woooooooooooooow how was I supposed to know that would get me the bad ending
Josiah Young
Nah, unlike you I don't care about this game or what ending I get because everyone playing an hour should know that the story is shit and you're not missing out on anything by not seeing the correct ending. I just want to get it off my backlog some day.
Isaiah Walker
I knew it was fucking Adachi for like a year since I was spoiled, I just didn't think the game would literally end as soon as I threw him in
Brandon Perry
>murder the guy who the party assumes is the culprit and you already know isn't >expecting anything but end of rine How did you not have a save before that?
Jacob Butler
Namatame not being the real killer is telegraphed as fuck. Several of the characters express their doubts about him and his lack of motive for the first two murders. You should've realized that there was more going on there, and you also definitely should've been keeping multiple save files. If video games in general have not beaten that compulsion into you yet, there's probably no hope for you.
I think a bigger issue is the fact that you can potentially miss an extra month and an entirely new dungeon for not finishing Marie's social link, when there is absolutely no in-game warning. Especially when you can just reload your most recent save to redo the Namatame sequence, whereas you could potentially have to redo an entire month of the game to do all of Marie's social link if you hadn't even started it.
Jacob Russell
>know Adachi is the culprit >throw some other guy the party falsely accuses into a den of shadows Stop to think sometime, dude.
Andrew Howard
If you were playing Golden (which I assume given your image) the game literally tells you just before the hospital scene that the upcoming decisions will be very important. That should have been a red alarm for you to not save over after you got the bad end.
Asher Taylor
>Heh heh heh, the game's giving me the option on whether or not to throw this guy into the TV. I guess I'll do it just to see what happens. >Oh I guess that's the end of the game, even though I already know that guy wasn't the real killer. >Better save over my clear data since the game is obviously over.
Cooper Perry
Don't forget OP got the bad ending and saved over that file.
Ethan Murphy
>why would I need multiple saves
>how to spot someone that's only been gaming for a few years
There's about a million and one reasons to make multiple saves and if you can't think of a single one you should probably try discussing vidya at your local preschool
Xavier Gray
>I knew who did it so I killed someone else then saved after the credits that's amazing persona 4 is shit but you're retarded
Grayson White
Either shit b8, or literal retardation. A major part of the game is fucking time management and making sure you go into fights prepared; you almost NEED multiple save slots in case you fuck up. Don't blame the game because you were too much of an idiot to use them.
Justin Anderson
>game tells you that fucking up is very possible and that you should save >get bad ending and game over with credits roll >save clear data over old save >complain that you can't load the save you just overwrote
Austin Perry
Why do you guys think he threw someone else in? Read his post again he said he threw in Adachi
Nolan Anderson
You can't throw in Adac- Ohhhh, this is that type of thread.
Ian Sanchez
That's not even an option within the game, the only person you can throw into the tv is Namatame.
Brody Howard
You seriously get the right ending in like a 10 minute span at most and that's if you're reading. Right before the game urges you to save before the hospital, like there's a fucking reason the game tells you to save. Nothing in the story changes before the hospital aside from 2 SL's and even then one is just for the "Golden Ending". You can still get the good ending by avoiding the two SL's.
You aren't supposed to do that. I don't even give a fuck since you clearly haven't played the game. You aren't supposed to throw Namatame in and you're supposed to let him get off while making sure the group knows to keep looking. Then shit takes off from there
It's just wanting the MC and gang to be morally higher than him by not also throwing people into the TV
Gabriel Moore
>watched my gf playing Okami last night >Issun straight up tells you "keep multiple saves in case you get stuck" >but to 15 yr old neo-Sup Forums posters its a revolutionary concept top kek, casuals aren't welcome here
Caleb Stewart
Kotaku please go
Matthew Watson
>an hour or two
Its more like half a dozen hours of content taken away. Also its your fucking fault for not saving often. Just do NG+ and steamroll to the choices again. I dont even know how you fucked up, the correct choices are obvious as fuck. Easily got through it on the first playthrough.
Alexander Carter
Why else would a game give you 16 save slots.
Nicholas Phillips
I can see where you are coming from. I am just mad that i didn't get the last its not over yet dungeon. But i got most of it. i wish we could just free roam and build our s.links up but we can't.
Carter Reed
How do you think he'd handle Persona 3?
>"I'll fight you, and save the world." >"Wipe our memories, we give up"
He'd probably pick option two, and then complain the ending was bad.
Jaxon Reed
Prove me wrong.
Henry Martin
>implying he wouldn't bitch about the AI and getting tired in Tartarus , then give up not saying it's hard with AI but rather his dumbass wouldn't use tactics
