>you'll never play a game during the Crusades, playing as a Warrior of God and driving back the mudslime menace from conquering all of europe

Go to church and think about what un-christian things you're saying, Jesus would not wish it that his followers spread the faith through the sword:

"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." - Matthew 26:52

I seem to recall there was like 4 times Christians tried to take over the Middle East with swords. Crusades? Condoned by the Christian Church? That ring a bell?

Take back*
You write like a high-schooler, by the way.

The Vatican has apologised for those mistakes, and mistakes they were, for they were terrible and ruined the Levant for much time to come.

literally CK2

Medieval II

Hi, could you please read this.

Catholics practice idolatry and blasphemy, who knew.

>Calling priests "father" in light of Matthew 23:9
>Venerating the angels and the saints in light of Revelation 22:9
>Hoarding up wealth in the Vatican and building mega churches and huge cathedrals in light of several Bible verses about the proper place and usage of money
>Allowing the Pope to speak as if he has authority from God when even the apostles charged their churches to test what they were saying against the scriptures

Christfag Redpillers are literally the new fedora atheists, even worse in some cases. Literal cancer

Sit down and take your pills, m8.

I'm just saying. There's a lot of cognitive dissonance going on in the Catholic church.

>2016
>Still believing in archaic jew religion and being unenlightened
>Not being a solipsist, quantum apolgetic, or panentheist

fuck KEKtianity..

Interesting view, I agree that Jesus wasn't some classical form of ultra-tolerant hippy, but it doesn't support the idea that the Crusades were something Jesus would sanction or tolerate, instead this stern/hardline Jesus described in that picture would be violently opposed to such action.

Do you really buy into the notion that the Crusades were evil?
They were a reluctant response to literal centuries of Muslim aggression and incursion into Europe.

What do crusades have to do with the pic he posted?

that's because they're not really christians, they think the idea of a knight wearing a cross tabard killing brown people is cool and that represents christianity.

The poster in that image must be autistic. Looks like a typical, unenlightened red-piller trying to justify hatred and violence.

None of that has anything to do with what the other user said.

"If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men." ---Romans 12:18

I suppose he interpreted my post as me saying Jesus was a hippy and thought to reply with it.

But user we need friendlier names than genocide to kill the people we don't like.

Nice edge, leddit.

two wrongs don't make a right

>everyone in this thread

This thread is giving me autism. It's like what happens when people try to debate about shit they no nothing about.

Jeez user I wasn't trying to be, friendly names just make things work better.

No but a 400 year series of constant and severe aggression into a another culture's territory does make for at semi assed attempts to reclaim that territory hundreds of years later.

Dante's Inferno, but it'll be kinda hilarious when you get BTFO by your own ideology when it accurately surmises how bullshit things like crusading are and how they are incompatible as shit with the bible.

>retaliating against an enemy and pushing them back, ensuring the survival of not only your faith but your family, your people, is wrong.

Notice the word "retaliating". If the Crusades had no pushed back the Muslims most of us wouldn't be here.

...

for strategy games i always play CK2, there's some mount and blade mods, and I think medieval total war had a crusade expansion. There's stronghold crusader but I've never tried it.
