It could only be a good thing, in my opinion. Sonic Team AND Sega are universally fucking ashamed of how Sonic 2006 turned out. If it turned up on a collection, I'm relatively confident they'd butcher the fuck out of it and re-purpose it until it's an almost complete (albeit still really shitty) game.
