go be black somewhere else
It's crazy how much cringe is preserved forever now because of YouTube
i made a zelda parody trailer that has 11k views
also made an mgsv trailer than is currently unlisted b/c i'm retooling it with new 60fps pc footage
and making another mgsv trailer for "i'll keep coming"
don't really care to amass a fanbase, just do this for fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
broke 30k subs about a week ago
average video gets around 7-8k views after a 3 day period
How'd you do it?
How much do you make off that?
post channel
severe lack of new million dollar extreme content is killing me
need more entertainment
>People try to make it big with gaming channels
Gunna post some fag I know. It's a gaming channel, but this video: youtu.be
5 subscribers, I think maybe 2 of them actually watch what I post.
Started a twitter account to try and build a following, over 20 followers, but no traffic.
>mfw
Youtube is not videogames
Check my four
Most of the people here show off gaming channels, champ
Do people honestly believe they can have a career as a Lets Player?
Aside from those who have millions of subscribers, literally every channel loses viewership and interest from people eventually.
I guarantee 90% of Lets Players lose all their Youtube money within 5 years of leaving

I hadn't installed my cracked version of Premiere yet and the instructions for it were on the torrents page and Kickass is now dead so I don't know how to install it...
I should've said "gaming channel" instead of youtube channel.
Although it's the same shit.
POST CHANNEL
That's some fucking shit
When you can't get the real thing a knock off doesn't quite do it, but at least it's usually cheaper.
Agreed

I mean if I can make a few bucks by posting videos of myself screaming at my dark souls character, I don't see a reason not to do it.
It's ok.

I like that it's not a "HEY GUYS WELCOME BACK, WHEN WE LEFT OFF" but you're talking about actual stuff. Keep it up sport
Just started mine back up after a 8 year hiatus, going to do tutorials, reviews, gaming news, podcasts, and some HTC Vive first plays. I have the hardware, money, friends, and knowledge for it so I just want to have fun with the channel. Just uploaded my first review, still getting use to editing so it isn't perfect. youtube.com
People never appreciate the work people put into editing, but good stuff. It'd feel like a higher tier channel if you just had a better mic
Broke 23k myself not too long ago. Viewership isn't where your's is at though.
Thanks, still figuring some stuff out, I feel my mouth was too far away when I recorded, just need some feedback, I appreciate it.
assuming you have the chingliu version
>cut off internet
>install trial version of premiere
>close
>install included adobe update manager
>use that update manager to install update in the included folder (probably titled "update")
>run the russian "for vr internal testing only" thing
>block premiere in firewall
I blocked every exe in the premiere folder just to be safe
been making weekly esports news videos for a year and a half, broke 200 subs before youtube purged 11 of them and brought me back to 191.
>reach 5,000 subscribers, start preparing a cool milestone special
>wake up to see count at 4,800
>it'll take like 2 months to get those subs back
i-i didn't want to celebrate my achievements anyway
This isn't mine but they get so few views I don't mind shilling em a little. Solid reviews and discussion about retro games. They try to go for more obscure stuff, and aren't trying to be memelord funny guys. Just some friends playing some games then talking about them.
How does someone go about starting a yt channel?
i wanna do lets plays for games that don't get much notice/traction on the big channels but outside of the absolute basics of recording i don't know where to start and at this point i'm too afraid to ask
NEW VIDEO

"Copy jontron"
not monotone reviews
>used to make a videos for a niche group of autists
>was up to 800 subs
>didn't have time to make new videos so I abandoned the channel for a bit, maybe about a year
>subs is now 740
What do you guys think, should I get back in?
Could be better... Any advice? Whenever I post in these threads I never get any feedback and I'm not sure if it's because I'm so hopeless it isn't worth the trouble, or because I'm at that perfect balance where it's fine but not enough for anybody to care.

Why didn't the stupid bitch just mute and ignore, still gets me to this day
Is Leggimi a version?
not going to do it, just going to be myself, if I don't become popular oh well, I make enough money, it will be something I can look back on in the future for good memories.

YOUTUBE GAMERS MUST NEVER POST ON THIS BOARD AGAIN
>Sup Forums unironically has youtube gaming channels
grow up senpai.

are you just sad that nobody liked your content here? maybe you needed to aim it more towards younger audiences, considering how youre acting now. it's always worth another shot
The only youtube channel i have is for personal use with nothing uploaded senpai, your bait is pointless, and your content is garbage.
I'm flagging every video in this thread on youtube under a false company name
get fucked kids!
>tfw suffering from paranoid delusions
guy who got the 7 here
i have no qualms with youtube gamers, and even posted my channel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

>these threads are posted everyday
>all you guys do is pray you get random Sup Forums users to check out your shit since you can't advertise it anywhere else without getting banned
I can't wait until Hiromoot makes /youtube/
I know I should add more editing and possibly some music in the background. But I don't care enough.
Made the jump to 4K recording and video editing. It's pretty taxing on my PC but the end result is a much better looking video on YouTube. When a 4K video gets posted on the site even the regular 1080 version looks higher quality.
I've noticed ever since posting 4K videos there seems to be an increase in people watching as well. I just posted a video today that has earned around 9 thousand views over the past few hours.
>You will immediately cease and not continue to access the site if you are under the age of 18.
Follow the rules, kiddo. Come back when you've grown.
you guys fucking suck holy shit
I'm having a blast. Meet lots of friendly people and I'm really enjoying this hobby.
that would be nice to be honest, there are youtube threads everywhere.
>drivers license says 1989
>you have a youtube gaming channel
pretty sure you should follow your own advice friend :^)

>11. Advertising (all forms) is not welcome—this includes any type of referral linking, "offers", soliciting, begging, stream threads, etc.
I really enjoyed this. Good job, guys.
>turns saturation up on a black and white image
>suddenly colors
Uuuuuh, that's not how that works
It's alright, 70 subs. I expected less for no-comment gameplay.
aww, he thinks he can make arguments like the big boys, how cute.
I'll saturate your colors, bro.
This thread is for advice and criticism, nobody on here is begging for subscribers.
>has no proof that I am breaking a rule, breaks a rule himself , the proof is right there
Middleschoolers, everyone.
then again, you guys do youtube gaming channels so its kinda obvious.

I've done about 5 full LPs but don't want to be that guy marketing it.
It's all survival horror. I tend to be cheesy sometimes.
are you actually only 18?
How much do you make, how long did that take, what was your main promotion tactic?
Gay?
I stream on Twitch but I want to get into Youtube because it feels more lasting and I think it would be fun to go back and watch older shit I've made. I want to start making some tutorial vids for things like Cities: Skylines. I know there are a bunch already but it would give me something to do and I'd dig it.
What video editing software would you anons recommend? Not opposed to buying if something is reasonably priced, but am also open to pirating if need be.

Coming along well, but very very slowly.
Not having time to put out content really hampers things.
what are you majoring in
i also recently turned 18 and I have no fucking clue where i'm going
hi weegee the fraud
I just mostly stream games on twitch and chill, have a little following its nice to relax and play games
>suck and cuck
Fuck, I remember you from like six months ago. Nice dude.
adobe premiere. it can be hard to look at at first, but once you know what/where shit is, the work flow is great.
I like your videos of that Sonic hack you have on your channel.
Fuck off faggot.
>LOL SUCK AND KEK XDDDD
>WOA...SO THIS IS THE POWER...OF MEMES.........
>REALLY MAKES YOU THINK HUH
>LEMME SHOUT Sup Forums MEMES ON MY VIDEOS
>I AM SO 4CHANNER XDDD
it's fucked because the only reason that video got popular, AT ALL, was because it was posted on both GameFAQS and a feeding/inflation fetish forum. No shit
I use Adobe Premiere for everything I do. All the graphics, animations, and everything in every episode I produce is done with Premiere and Photoshop alone. It's not very hard to learn how to use all things considered.
I've had videos get popular for strange reasons as well. I've had videos posted on IGN, Kotaku, and a bunch of other sites. Best to take stuff like that and find other ways to interest your new viewership.
Yup, started the channel when I was only 16
I'm under contract not to disclose that information. Socialblade, while broad, is pretty accurate - socialblade.com
Nah, I have a girlfriend
I don't plan on going to college. I'm actually just starting my senior year of highschool come August, and I'm already making enough to be able to live on my own. In like a year from now, though, I'll be rolling in money and be able to move out / do whatever I want.
Hi
Thanks senpai, that's my best meme
I'm sorry you do not like it. I will try harder.
It kind of makes me want to do a new video on something Sonic-related. Maybe I'll do a nostalgia video on Sonic CD.
It seems they have a bunch of packages, may I ask which you guys use?
I keep getting requests to do Sonic videos. I have no idea why it's so popular considering the state of the series as it is now.
Quality cringe, I love his comments full of spelling errors to.
I used whatever Adobe Cloud package that gives me access to Photoshop and Premiere. I never once use After Effects and I'm still able to create things like this: youtube.com
Thank you.
my normalfag friends say I'm hilarious and would love to see me do YouTube videos. I just don't know what to play and what to talk about and shit. guess I'm doomed with nothing
rolling in money how?
Just try it on anything. No harm, don't even have to show it to anyone if you don't want to.
Because autism.
It's alright. I wish I had more time to work on videos.
Thanks user, I'll give it a look. I think actually paying for good video editing software might actually make me use it on a regular basis.
I wish Adobe would make a cheaper package for people, but what can you do. There is virtually no serious competition for video editing software (for our uses) right now.
what to use to record games? obs? fraps?
for editing I can just pirate after effects or premier or some shit but I want to know if there's anything better than obs for recording simple shit
