battleheart - fun little squad based pseudo RPG combat game

chaos rings - full fledged squaresoft gen 6 style JRPG with good combat and surprisingly cool story/production value

clash royale - f2p 1v1 tower offense. really fun for a while then devolves into pay 2 win after dozens of hours. it's really good tho.

solomons keep - the OG decent mobile game

downwell - fun roguelike type game where you descend down a well

Bloons TD5 if that's your cup of tea.

The 2nd and 3rd one are equally good albeit a bit "unfair" at times, ESPECIALLY Origins, has some really garbage situations that aren't easily dealt with, even on Easy.

if you want something to grind, try summoners wars or heroes tactics. first is turn based FF or pokemon style, second is strategy hex based, both will take a decent amount of grind to get to max but have decent gameplay.

Tactics Maiden in particular actually compares favorably to most console tactical RPGs, at least outside of the production values.

I've played the tabletop version of Ascension. It was alright, though far from my favorite deckbuilder.

On a similar note, Neuroshima Hex probably works better as an Android game than it did as a board game. It is far too easy to overlook something important when resolving combat in the tabletop version.

Just play SNES and GBA games on emulators

Nearly all of them are completely unenjoyable to play using a touchscreen. Even turn-based RPGs are a pain in the ass a lot of the time.
