The only time when I didn't use Wing Diver was in Normandy stages where an Air Raider with a Vegalta Heavy just made everything too easy.

For other vehicles the extra horsepower on higher level vehicles actually helps a lot because the low level variants are so slow but for bikes the extra horsepower if too much to handle. You can reach sanic speeds though if you just go in straight line.
