What if Apple buys Nintendo, and Pokemon Go becomes an iPhone-exclusive?
What if Apple buys Nintendo, and Pokemon Go becomes an iPhone-exclusive?
Non-Japanese companies can't take over Japanese companies IIRC
But what if they did anyways?
It wouldn't be exclusive because it would limit the money.
This thread is so fucking stupid. I'm sorry but what the fuck are you even saying.
Niantic made the game idiot, Niantic is Google, imbecile. Fucking idiot, stupid idiot, if you don't even know what are you talking about, why don't you just shut up?
Are you retarded?
is there a law about this or is it just honor stuff?
What if the moon was made of pudding?
The former.

JEW FEARS THE SAMURAI
Niantic spun out of Google nine months ago
Niantic is not part of Google and the intellectual property of Pokemon has been transferred to the Pokemon company and Nintendo is a minority owner (20% or so) of that company.
That'll be less fucking retards going 20 mph in a 60 and suddenly stopping and whipping out their phones. You retards need to stop I've seen 3 people so far pull over, get out of their cars and point their phone around looking like a retard AT 4AM on a pitch black road. You fuckers deserve to get murdered
Not a single fuck given
This is true, but what people often don't realize is that Nintendo is the trademark owner of the Pokemon logo, Pikachu, and all the other prominent characters and imagery in the franchise. That's why there's virtually no chance of it showing up on a competitor's platform.
Also, it's more like 30% that Nintendo owns, and they also owe some amount of Creatures Inc which is one of the three companies that jointly own Pokemon, and as far as I'm aware they've never publicly disclosed how much that is. If they have a controlling interest in Creatures, they virtually have a controlling interest in Pokemon, too.
