rainbow six

swat 4

splinter cell

MGS

max payne

COD

battlefield

breach and clear

what else?

elsa lobotomy

Escape from Tarkov.

and ghost recon

the warZ: remake

that means fuck off

What's that top-down minimalist indie game that was shown off last year that let you plan out your attack on a whiteboard and then you had to breach and clear a building and kill terrorists or some shit. I think it boasted fully destructible walls so you could enter from literally anywhere on the map.

It seemed pretty cool but I can't remember the name.

>battlefield
Operating in Battlefield is actually super detrimental to you because of the latency.
You're better off running around quick as fuck, always moving, jumping etc. Walking slow makes you a huge target. Your vision is also in the middle of your head, so slowly peaking around corners gets you shot before they're even visible.

ArmA -games
(old) Operation Flashpoint -games

...play on a private server with a couple of mates?

or is it a problem from the netcode itself?

Republic commando

Doorkickers

Door Kickers

What happened to the Flashpoint series? Did those past two game completely kill the franchise?

Squad
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis & Resistance

It seems like Codemonkeys don't know what to do with it besides turning it into another run-off-the-mill CoD clone.

New blood in the development leadership killed it with their new ideas to bring audiences from other games killed it

>tfw Ding Chavez gets his head blown off a few minutes into the first mission.

It became the ARMA series. The shitty ones made by Codemasters or whoever were cobbled together because Bohemia lost the license.

>Doorkickers
damn that looks pretty cool, thanks user

Deus Ex.

>tfw always using unnamed assaulters because you dont want to risk your allstars

Rainbow Six Siege

Nah, wasn't that. Game I'm thinking of was REALLY minimalist and was announced at a gaming event last year. Similar concept to Doorkickers though.

delta force if anyone remembers that

Whoops, meant to reply to you in

ah and also hidden and dangerous

black hawk down?
my man

Neat gear selection desu

youtube.com/watch?v=t9h-INl2vtE
this one, also remembered IGI

>that scope
what the fuck

>in the sea of military COD clone shooters that have been plaguing us for a decade now no game lets you play as Delta boys

Fuck everything

>get a Delta Force tv show
>half of it is about their wives doing stupid homemaker shit

I recommend Dalton Fury book series on Delta. Fiction but written by a former assaulter and commander so its very rooted in reality.

Frozen Synapse 2?

>now a open world operator faction war in a randomly generated urban city
shieeeeeeeet

>mfw out of the fucking blue RS Raven Shield starts fucking up
>cutscenes won't show
>planning doesn't work
>and now can't log into account
JUST

DUE PROCESS

Fuck yeah, thanks user. Glad it's not dead.

Marauder

>Marauder
my slavic nigga
>mfw slaughtering the whole neighborhood by camping with a shotgun
Also E5 brigade and 7,62 High Calibre with Blue Suns mod

That's actually pretty nifty

shit. I remember this game.
coop was lot of fun

Is there any sort of overarching plot to the games, or is it more a spiritual continuation series?

Played the shit out of that game.

>that scope
Now I want more games that do them like that.

nope, just spiratual continuations with a FEW returning characters and a VERY few references to E5, but you can play 762 without E5.

IGI 2 when?

insurgency cooperative is toptier operating

bundlestars.com/en/bundle/indie-legends-4-bundle

doorkicks and a shit load of other games for 3.49

oh shit that's good, thanks a lot man
finally have enough money to buy some shit this year

When you google it.

Shit, I never knew about that. Was it any good?

I dunno, haven't played either.

Are those games really good? Can I play with a friend?

ArmA 2 & 3 are brettygud/10 IMHO. Great for playing with pals.

What about the older ones? My friend's pc is old

Haven't aged well at all. Feel clunky as fuck compared to the newer iterations.

Squad

Still stupidly overpriced for how little content is in the game last time I checked.

Helldivers for some hardcore inter-planetary operation, niggas.

MGS 4 has some of the most underrated gameplay for operating, feels better/tighter than MGS 5 to me. The CQC is a lot more complex than most people realize. Only problem is there's hardly any gameplay with human opponents past act 2.

Surgeon simulator

Trauma Center

>7,62 High Calibre
That game is boring, buggy dogshit even with that mod. You'd have to be really autistic to enjoy that game.

It's still the best game it's genre.
Only other one i can think of is Silent Storm.

Cool mission

the goose is cooked

bumping for Rainbow Six 3
fucking based with Ordnance Project

SWAT 4 is gud
maybe add Operation Flashpoint? at least Dragon Rising

yes

SWAT 3

>tfw you never going to play swat 5

Due process

And the reason it's minimalist is they haven't finished the models etc, which will be in the game when it comes out.

>Ghost Recon with both expansions and the Heroes Unleashed mod
>As you already probably know, Raven Shield with expansions and RVS 2.0 mod
>Rainbow Six: Black Ops
>Arma 3 with the RHS mods for modern realistic equipment (I personally recommend fucking around in the mission editor and playing singleplayer, YMMV of course)

There are more games such as 7.62 High Caliber and JA2 however the ones I listed above, I feel, bring the "feel of operating" closer to you as the player than these two. I hope I helped, anons.

Also Ground Branch might be good when it's out, I'm keeping an eye on that one.
