On-time release confirmed

Phew im glad

>DOUBTING

>all planets only have one climate/biome each
>planets are miles away (note some trailers show short travel to moons, not planets which are much further away)
>can rename any creature/planet, but doing so is completely redudant given the fact there's no reason to stay on a planet and chances of another player seeing said planet is almost 0
>the online "multiplayer" is extremely misleading - players cannot bump into each other in the world; rather, actions they do (like renaming things) will take effect in an asynchronous manner
>the "quests" shown off were literally to gather matetials or defend/attack a faction
>NPCs have no AI whatsoever, only a select few scripted events to trigger the above
>less than 10 actual climates seem to exist in the game, with recolours being their compromise for looking like more
>due to the insanely high number of apparent planets in this game, statistically the chances of you seeing many unique ones is miniscule - rather, you're more likely to see a planet with tall mountains in red, then one with slightly shorter mountains in blue, then in green with a lake. The more permutations in a procedural structure, the less different they are to one-another
>"combat" appears to only be basic gunplay (one of the easiest things to implement to make what would otherwise just be a simulator into a game, since implementing guns just requires basic raycasting)
>optional weapon upgrades that are """crafted""" by dumping random collectibles on it
>trees, creatures, and NPCs shown off so far already have duplicates in promotional material, which is quite an antithesis to all the "there's so many permutations!" point they hammer-in

Just in case some anons aren't already aware.

Fucking chill this bitch
*Unzips dick*

Thanks for the free advertising bro :-)

wow look at that, less than 5 minutes old and already one filter hit

I'm so glad.
Pre-ordered a copy for me, my girlfriend and her son too.

Can't wait to explore the galaxy together!

>all planets only have one climate/biome each
JUST

eat shit.

why is he unironically using those japanese emoticons

Dat autism

ironically being a weeb is the new hot thing on the internet just like ironic memes

Japs didn't invent emoticons m8.

Shh you can keep shilling anyway

It takes a really SPECIAL individual to post that in every single thread, like clockwork.

yeah i get that but it really doesn't seem like he's doing it ironically, hence why I said "unironically"

no, but the one he used has kanji in it, friend

Japs didn't invent kanji m8

>Arrive on a planet's surface
>Interface tells me it's called "Fuckthisgame."
Wow, immersion ruined.

>implying there won't be word filters

Jesus you dumb fucks keep pretending people will name things like this. You are all retarded if you think there won't be filters stopping certain names and words. No niggerdickasaurus, no shitonyourface planets.

I can't wait for someone to find an exploit with the server and rename every single planet as GAS THE KIKES discovered by RACE WAR NOW.

...

>Arrive on a planet's surface
>Interace tells me it's called "#$%%!&*@"
Wow, immersion ruined

DELETE THIS

>Sits on Sup Forums all day waiting for someone to post a NMS thread so you can post this same post.
You need a life, bro.

>implying I didn't write a script to do it for me
kek

>arrive on barren Desert planet
>players called it "Gameplay"

You're here now so it probably isn't a bot. Go play outside and have fun. :)

All these shills man

lawsuit confirmed
what kind of fucking smiley face is this?

Cmon man. The game won't just filter names to other characters. It will say something like "invalid characters" or "cannot use banned words". It won't let you submit niggercunt and just cover it up...

>being hyped for this game

You'll understand why it's going to be shit when you're older

Fuck off pretending to be me

Takes like a second desu, but I stay for the entertainment.

>ツ is kanji

>be in real life
>build a space ship and fly to Mars
>land on Mars, a barren wasteland
>people call this life

Wow

It's begging you to buy their game

>still fucking hyping this retarded game

Yeah that's what happens when it's not released yet, dipshit. Welcome to Sup Forums.

>expecting english speakers to be able to tell the difference between katakana and kanji and not just taking the point on its inference

getting hyped over this is so weird to me. It seems like everyone is just setting themselves up for disappointment.

aight nevermind lets just jerk our dicks to semantics like a bunch of cargo pants wearing sweaty nerds

>no proper multiplayer support

flop

partially true as it has been stated that some planets will have only one biome (water planets for example), some will be dominated by one biome but also have minor biomes present (desert planets with some vegetated areas)
yes and no, also one of the first things you will be upgrading on your ship will be jump/warp systems

not sure what you are trying to stay here, but for explorers it will be worth exploring planets and describing flora/fauna in detail as uploading data nets you money

it is, for all intensive purposes, a single player game, however, you can meet other players but there is no way to communicate besides shooting each other

the majority of quests are probably to do with collecting resources or exploring ruins or attacking/defending buildings

i wouldn't say they have no ai but it does seem to be very limited and interactions are based on reputation and how well you have learnt their language

this is a valid complaint but from what i have read in the interviews, planets and their biomes/weather/floara/fauna get more complex the closer you get to the centre of the universe

i don't think you understand how probability works

again, this isn't an fps game but we haven't seen the full extent of weapon capabilities
you can scavenge or steal or trade or hack computers for technology to upgrade weapons and possibly also intercept transmissions as well

again, it is procedural so certain planet types will have certain biomes and flora/fauna associated with them so yes, there will be repitition but there should be decent variation in that repition or at least enough to give you a somewhat unique experience every time

>there is no way to communicate besides shooting each other
The game is set in America?

>he monitors Sup Forums so he can have his pasta be one of the first few posts in every NMS thread
thanks for the friendly reminder that Sup Forums is more autistic than reddit

I always sort the catalog by creation date, but not exclusively for NMS threads

Game seems comfy but I'm not willing to pay for it

>"Event #2130: Stop the Spaceniggers from looting KFC

go back there then

Sounds worse than even Minecraft

haha nice meme my friend
