Wow... No Man's Sky™ is looking really good!
What game?
infinite warfare
You're supposed to hate it because it's trying something new and isn't going to be CoD Modern Warfare/Post Modern Warfare.
Damn really? I hope we get VR games with this kind of space combat but also an MMO like EVE but less grindy.
Is it for the campaign only though
If it's a multiplayer mode i'm preordering right now
I think it's hilarious.
The one time CoD tries to do something differently is the time where it becomes the "in" thing to hate it for the normies.
Looks better than the last two, I guess. I did like Ghosts though, still play the multiplayer with bots sometimes
EVE Valkyrie is a VR space combat game
probably MP too
I remember watching E3 and seeing this and then at the end the CALL OF DUTY logo appears.
Nobody has ever gone from 0 to dissappointment so fast.
Yeah but that is just combat right? I also want it to have an exploration aspect to it. Let people form huge conglomerates and nations
>holding a lock on button while your plane autopilots that we've all seen in 4 CoD games now is considered good
consider elite dangerous
What the fuck is up with all these retards claiming "wow this looks nothing like CoD, I was so surprised!"?
>2 minute long campaign set pieces
>ever being in MP
SAVED
its not on rails anymore
space combat plays a huge role this time lol
I don't get the hate at all.
I haven't played a CoD since Modern Warfare and this looks kind of fun. Wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it but in a sale I might pick it up.
It was never "on rails", that's the point. You can steer the aircraft without lockon but all it's useful for is killing ground units. As for dogfighting, in every past CoD game with air sections where you "pilot" you just point at the enemy plane, lock on and just use the directional stick to make sure the crosshair lays over the target while the game automatically keeps you pointed in the enemies general direction. It's as minimal player input as CoD can get without just making it a movie or a giant QTE section.
That's exactly how these space battles play out, and it's exactly how the previous CoD games like Advanced Warfare and Blops 2 and 3 played out.
Because it's still COD. The graphics are always going to look good, but the actual gameplay is always terrible.
The gameplay is fine it's just incredibly stale at this point
For a second there I thought it could have been star citizen.
>uses stupid ace combat assault horizon inspired mechanics
No thanks
