VLC has a speedup/slowdown effect built in. It's a lot more basic, but it's not shown by default. Clicking in the window and pressing "[" or "]" slows down or speeds up the song by 10% each press, pretty fun to mess around with.
Instrumental songs work better because it doesn't get creepy or awkward like it does with voices. I actually found one that was pretty cool at 1.8x speed, which ruins like 99% of songs normally.
