Oh, don't mind me, Batman. I'm just being the worst character in a video game. Now go spend 30 hours collecting all 1000 of my macguffins.
Oh, don't mind me, Batman. I'm just being the worst character in a video game...
I don't think anyone outside of achievement/trophy whores even bothered with that shit, I know I never did. The funny thing is I think they realized this after city, so the cunts decided to lock the true ending behind 100% completion and I have a feeling it still didn't make much of a difference (pretty sure most people just looked the ending up on youtube).
It was tedious at times, sure, but if it took you hours upon hours to find them all you're likely a retard.
i secretly judge people that dont 100% open world games, they are so easy most of the time just like 4-5 hours longer to do
Why would you judge people for not wanting to waste their time on dumb bullshit to pretend they accomplished something? especially when it's a common trope nowadays to pad a game out.
>only have three Joker teeth in Asylum left to finish his stupid bullshit
>can't fucking find them
Eat a dick, Eddie
>Im gonna sit down here till you unlock my door! Im never coming out! Not until you do all the things!
>waste time
buddy if youre playing ANY game youre wasting your time, might as well get your moneys worth.
His VA is great and it really doesn't take that long to 100%
>entertainment is now "wasting time"
ayo u lil sheit come er
AY AY AY Lemme see da map of yoos
yup bro ya nigga see da setelmint rih here
ya UHHH day ne u
yup an da migh ne u agei so don ta to long
it is, you dumb retard.
>playing through a story on easy mode somehow ISNT a waste of time
>doing the optional bits that are harder somehow is
wow youre a real fag you know that
there's a difference between entertainment and thinking how fucking stupid it is that i'm looking for items in a corner of a map i wouldn't have bothered going to if it weren't for some arbritrary 100% counter.
If you enjoy it , great. but I rarely hear anybody say they're having fun collecting tapes, or teeth, or birds, or whatever the fuck other dumb shit is put into games to pad it out.
>100% complete on every single open world game I've ever played
games are dirt cheap because im so late on everything. i dont mind desu senpai. gta 5 took me a month for instance and most of my friends were done in 3 days
the ending isn't even worth it. The entire story in Knight sucked now that I think about it.
>le but its SOOO arbitrary :')
>every game is assassins creed
its another aspect of challenge. its just harder and needs more dedication than the ez mode singleplayer story
lets be honest there isnt a single aaa open world game that has a storyline thats actually challenging to play through
the arkham series has probably one of the best collectibles out of any open world game
Yeah, batman games are the only ones i've bothered doing it with. A lot of other open worlds don't give you any type of reward or lore for doing it.
Doing it as batman feels like something that you'd actually do to find out where that faggot the riddler is hiding.
Shooting pidgeons as niko, for example, is tedious, and fucking stupid. Collecting animals as snake, for example, is fucking tedious and stupid, it's not challenging to have to open up google and find the random location of some shit i'd never find regardless.
Just depends on the game I suppose.
Am tried to collect the riddler pieces but got soo bored in asylum. I hate the fact that there no enemies to fight at all on island at endgame.
Agreed user. I think the batman games do it better since it's more of using logic to solve riddles/puzzles, rather than going to some obscure place at the edge of a map.
You are fucking stupid m8, it's not about whether something is hard or easy, it's about whether or not it's FUN.
If you spend 1 hour playing videogames and you are not enjoying it then yes, it's a complete waste. Not so much if you actually enjoy it.
I did collect all the Batman riddler stuff in Bamham City. It was fun. Catwoman's stuff was not, though.
I find turn-based games to be comfy because I can relax and take my time in coming up with a strategy but they are still engaging enough that they aren't boring.
fun and challenge often go hand in hand. you could be hella whacky and random dude, but it still ends up shitty like sunset overdrive if its not challenging at all, like sunset overdrive
challenge and fun should be balanced
I actually liked collecting the trophies. I thought it was fun.
I was borrowing it so I wanted to platinum it as quickly as possible.
FUCK those predator campaigns.
Kinda glad I didn't have the DLC, I imagine catwoman and robin's are even harder because less gadgets.
youre so pathetic, i feel bad for your life
your mean words hurt me
>those Riddler batmobile races
sorry Catwoman, you're fucked
those where fun AND easy
there's no more races after you free catwoman are there?
I didn't get all the trophies but I did see the riddler robot
the races I did do where fairly tame, took 1 or 2 attempts
there is literally like 4 races in the whole game
