Saw should have ended at 1.

this

I can't think of any.

You fuckers allowed it to get raped over and over.

Metal Gear Solid 2.

God, I hate saw movies. Retarded twists, terrible villain motivation that they showcase as if he's righteous in any shape or form, no real substance other than gore porn.

Stalker SoC

This is good too.

1 was good.

I thought this was really weak as far as twists go. So the jigsaw killer was in the room the entire time, but for what purpose? What the fuck does he gain by laying on the floor for the entire movie? Literally nothing would change if he was watching them through a monitor from another location.

...

What was the twist?

There were several. First few are red herrings though.

Solidus did nothing wrong

That Snake would be who you would be playing the whole time.

Wasn't he wanting to be there in case one or both of them decided not to play the game? I think they explain it that way, or maybe he was there to try to recruit one of them immediately after to be his apprentice. Which is what happens anyway.

Memes

The entire game.

I'd think he would be able to do both of those easily if he was in the next room.

KOTOR

...

Mother 3

The one in KOTOR.

It was cool how the finale movie ended with the bathroom. Doctor Gordon and previous victims being the new Jigsaw. It's like pottery.

...

tfw when playing for the first time right after mgs1 i thought to myself "wait, kojima couldnt make the same game twice, what the fuck, this is the same game and plot as first game just different setting and characters"
mfw reveal

BATEN
KAITOS

Ovan is Tri-Edge

Shit was intense.

4D SPACE

Who wants to summarize the contents of the entire Saw series for me?

...

just read the saw wikia user, it doesn't take long

A cancer patient puts people with massive issues into escapable death traps so that they will appreciate life more, retardation ensues

First one is about someone fed up with how shitty people are so he tortures them in sadistic ways to try and make them realize how precious life is and to make them better people or something and if they don't change they die.

Don't really remember much about the later ones but there's something about the torturer guy getting cancer.

even if you are just trolling, I agree; the twist was my favorite part of the entire series and only faggots that don't like nonformulaic games hated it.

First movie was a really low budget psychological thriller/horror movie, like a poor man's Seven. After the first movie's mild success, they got a bigger budget and used it to make gore porn for the five or six sequels. The end.

It's all something something La Li Lu Le Lo.

...

What game? Star Ocean 3?

Does sound like some retardation.

Actually sounds like a decent and reasonable plot.

I liked the second movie's twist but that should have been the end

Probably the most shocking plot twist...

...because it literally made no sense in the context of the story

mw2 has a profoundly stupid plot in the first place

>It's YOUR fault for enjoying something
Fuck off

I've never played MW2 or 3, but wasn't Shepard's plan to provoke Russia into war with the United States so he could try and make America great again by stomping out Russia once and for all?

it actually was a good movie. but after john died, it became about killing people without even giving them a shot of escaping and it was awful

>The real life video game
>Jews did 9/11

Heat had two hard lives.

Yeah. Really, the only part of the story that I found to be a plot hole was the fact that Luther knew enough about genetic symbology to know that they could break out of the simulation with it, there couldn't have been any precedent that would have made him think that and thus the fact that the simulation was scheduled to be wiped was something that shouldn't have happened to begin with, which in turn would have made the entire ending of the game unnecessary except for world building and backstory; they would never have needed to go to 4D space to begin with and wouldn't even have fucking known about it if the attacks hadn't started, he literally shot himself in the foot based on information he should not have had to begin with.

His plan was to provoke Russia into war with United States, so he could be praised as a war hero by single handedly crushing the entire Russian army all by himself.

In order to do so, he had to kill his own men so they wouldn't get any credit.

It's fucking bullshit

Serph did A fucking shitload wrong holy fuck

I thought that Jigsaw's puzzles were supposed to be solvable, but then you see that the only way to keep himself from drowning in the start of the first one is to unplug a drain which immediately sucks down the key

how the fuck do you recover from that exactly

I think Jade Empire does the best rendition of the master betrayal plot device. Maybe FF7 because, at the time, no one expected a major party member to die.

they couldve just both sawed off their legs.

This entire game.

inFamous.

What a fucker.

...

I'll fuck off your mom, faggot bitch.

A party member dying is not a plot twist

...

>Yakuza 4
>the plot of the first game was all just a set up by the police
>they had a hand in everything significant in the story so far
>rubber bullets

n-not vidya, but the best twist i've seen in any movie

this guy right here.

the polito form is dead insect

>the Beast is John White

must not have watched very many movies

But it's not Memento.
Also, the fact that they keep the "poor" wagon just to produce kids to keep the train going was a better twist.

RUBBER
FUCKING
BULLETS

The thing I like about the twist in GT is the only clues you have to solving it before hand are the way the game mechanics work and what objects you can trick or not.

The 8492th Squadron doesn't exist.

I'm pretty sure unexpected death is a plot twist.
GoT uses it all the time.

You become god at the end of the game

I actually figured out the twist to Ghost Trick while waiting for my bus to work one morning having not played the game since the previous night. I didn't stop smiling the whole day.
You're a cat and you spend the whole game torturing and harming rats
You forgot to read? Nah, you never could read
Ghost Trick might just be the best game.

That this cool motherfucker was the big baddy in disguise the entire time

>Walk into a room.
>Some random dead person sitting in a chair.
>Walls fly away.
>mfw listening to her talk.

>>Some random dead person sitting in a chair.
So you didn't pay attention at all during the first part of the game?

No it isn't

don't ever play a game called 17 no ever
i was like YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

What's this about rats? I can't recall.

A dying toymaker has precognitive skills so advanced he created plans that ran for (3?) movies after his death.

The mouse in the apartment, you end up slamming with a door and dropping through air vents
If I remember correctly, there's a mouse in another localtion that you end up harming in some way too
That's about what I remember, it's been a while since I played.

"Peripeteia is a sudden reversal of the protagonist's fortune, whether for good or ill, that emerges naturally from the character's circumstances.[13] Unlike the deus ex machina device, peripeteia must be logical within the frame of the story. An example of a reversal for ill would be Agamemnon's sudden murder at the hands of his wife Clytemnestra in Aeschylus' The Oresteia"

Going to go with wiki on this one instead of random shmuck on Sup Forums

How was I supposed to know that particular office was the female narrator's office? Why would there be one office in what is otherwise just a junction point between other parts of the complex? The position of her room made no sense at all, and with the random dead people scattered around, there was no reason to believe that corpse was any different.

That was pretty stupid since the entire game would be over immediately had it not gone down the drain. All it did was remind you that Jigsaw is always fair, but there was also no hope for them.

he did that knowing he wouldnt have gotten it, because adam's character always rushed head first and never payed attention to his surroundings

absolute shit twist in both games.

>It's the only room you can go in to that level
>Objective is clearly "Meet Dr Polito on the 4th floor", objective you're working on for the past 5/6h.
>At a dead end, in a clean room, the corpse of a female scientist.
What else did you wanted? A red bright signe saying "PLOT TWIST AHEAD"?

The cat being behind Sissel was bullshit

>You forgot to read? Nah, you never could read

This didn't make sense because you could apparently speak perfect English and had knowledge of how certain things worked that no cat would.

you are a cat
you went back in time and killed yourself
you are on the moon

I'm still salty about this.

I played this game totally blind and it blew my mind. One of the few games I wish I could forget so I could play it all over again.

>you went back in time and killed yourself
what game

I'm very very squeamish, but I love some horror movies. Is Saw any good, or will it make me throw up? I can't stand high amounts of gore.

I always imagined this as Sissel's thoughts becoming completely understandable because they're in the spirit world. We can perfectly understand Missile's thoguhts and he knows things he probably shouldn't too. As Yomiel's companion, it's highly likely that Sissel would've seen a lot of shit adn learned about the world.
Those are my thoughts anyways. I don't think the minor plot inconsistencies take anything away from the overall story.

When the tv show The Critic went from good to terrible between seasons.

You will vomit nearly immediately into any given Saw movie.

>a clean room.
That's the problem, it doesn't look like an office. The room is literally a hallway with a desk at the end. There was nothing to suggest that corpse was special to the story and not just visual decoration of "Hey look, this person killed themselves. Cool. Now loot the room, find the office cubicle area and look for the largest office."
