I'm trying to piece together the plot, who is Overwatch and who is Talon?

Overwatch has Soldier76, Tracer and Winston at the bare minimum based on the trailers

Talon has Reaper, Widowmaker, Junkrat and Roadhog

Where does that leave the rest?

I play as mercy a ton.

Every time I'm near a Reaper at spawn, the convo gets depressing quickly.. e.g. "What happened to you", "I don't know you tell me Doc".

Reaper fucking hates Mercy.

Road hog is junkrats bodyguard I believe and junkrat isn't with takin but has his own interests

Blizzard set up talon as a major threat but we only have 2 members of it in the game

The rest of the cast are good guys and a lot are overwatch

I just ignore whatever lore Blizzard wrote and follow my headcanon, aka grown ass adults playing future softair in silly costumes and Repear is just a chill dude pretending to be edgy for the sake of laughs.

Mercy makes sense. Lucio has good intentions and is a good guy. Mercy resurrects people because "muh experimenz". Both are healers, so Blackwatch probably has her.

Why does Tracer Hate him

Partly because of the conflict between Reyes and Morrison.

Reyes of blackwatch doubting the 'good' of overwatch and its legitimacy while Morrison constantly championing (sometimes blindly) overwatch's values.

In the end, Morrison couldn't trust Reyes, killed him and fled (possibly due to discovering the nature of blackwatch?).

I believe that most of the former overwatch members felt some issues towards the attempted killing of Reyes by Morrison, Tracer may be one of those people.

Being a pilot, and an expert, she may have worked with blackwatch (and by extension Reyes and McCree) in the past in a drop-mission of some sorts.

It was also believed that Reyes killed Morrison, too. Soldier has been thought dead until recently just like reyes.

I don't know anything about him, but based on his looks he's probably had a hard life.

Reaper wasn't a killer and/or a thief, though. He was the original, temporary leader of Overwatch and Soldier's superior in both age and experience. Morrison just had the prettier face, so he got promoted once the crisis ended.
