Is this the longest single player game ever made?

Nope, however I am now wondering what is the longest.

It's one of the worst ARPGs in recent memory.

Skyrim
Infinite quests, baby

Does not count, BABE

It's a single player game that doesn't end
It counts, and it wins.

No. But its the longest good one

Im with ya m8

I doing these quests for like 1 xp at this point but i can't stop its too good also horse racing and playing cards and stuff

If only rockstar would stop tryharding with their sarcasm and modern society shit to create something like this too

AHAHAHAAGAGGAHWADHFWFHGH

I'm really curious what games you consider good.

I've been playing Witcher 2 for the first time (I skipped 1) and I hate the combat.

Does it get better when I unlock some upgrades? Is Witcher 3 combat more fun? I really like the main character and story so far but the gameplay is boring me so much I'm thinking of dropping it.

Dark Souls (tm)

Git gud! XD

Probably some weeb beta shit

Skyrim

Fallout 4 has infinite quests too, doesn't make it the longest.

Skyrim did it first

Baldurs Gate 2 might be longer.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a definite contender if you do all of the side missions and party member's affinity missions, kill all of the tyrants, and get 100% survey completion

>weeb beta shit
Wow man, hit the nail on the head with that one.

weeb shit > polcuck trash

cyberpunk 2077 when?

I fucking love speaking in memes.

It's just bloated. By the time I reached the end I couldn't give less of a fuck anymore and felt utterly nothing afterwards. I just wanted to get this shit off my backlog ASAP at the time already.

Never seen a game overstay its welcome so much like this one, jesus christ. In fact, the main story itself was hot garbage because half of it is what is called a "ghost plot", since you're just searching for someone who is never there for no reason. It was never interesting in the first place because it relies on a cartoonishly evil villain whose representation couldn't be more basic and childish. I mean, gothic "mwahahaha" tier elves freezing everything and wearing armor suits that have edges on top of their edges? I've seen better villains in looney tunes. Then whatever was salvageable about the main plot completely falls apart after Kaer Morhen, when the game should have rightfully ended.

Also, very good design making your ending rely on 5 completely retarded moments that should have no right affecting fuckall, specially the one involving the lodge. Truly a fine design. Not.

No cutscenes, shitty animations, empty world.

I was wondering the same thing and i think it is. Although Daggerfall was pretty big too.

Just no

>No cutscenes
not him but that's a good thing.

TES games, old CRPGs, paradox games, old JRPGs etc.

Completing all quests in MHFU takes around 500 hours.

It it It's a Feature ! kek

I think the original advertised at 150 hours on the box.

That would only be if you did absolutely everything you could possibly do in a single playthrough though.

I don't know what you're getting at.
If you want cutscenes you should go watch a movie. More games should put the action and storytelling in the gameplay. Not saying Skyrim is a good example of that, but still. Cutscenes are cancer

>using cuck to try to fit in

witcher 2 combat is boring and difficult, but its not difficult because you need to "git gud", its just poorly designed for dealing with large groups of enemies, which is all you will ever face. Witcher 3 combat, while not perfect, is at least fun enough to be serviceable. My only gripe is the game is easy even on the highest difficulty.

Monster Hunter is an autism tester and not a real videogame.

Grind time wasters can't be taken into account.

And people talking and you having to wait until they finish in any better why?

Trying to give it a chance on ps4 cause friend recommended it. Absolutely broken and unfinished, extreme glitchy, worst loading times I've experienced. Some houses aee literally unfinished when you enter, with holes in the floor and floating cards you can't even get. One quest dude keeps fighting and I can't interrupt. One door just doesn't fucking open. Got random deaths, t poses you can't escape from and missing sound. I feel like I'm constantly fighting the game itself.

give me 3 examples of a good game without cutscenes after 00

This is all one single playthrough. I'm not even done with B&W side stuff yet and have 1/3 of Tussaint left to explore.

It's definitely the longest one I've played.

I never said that was better you illiterate retard. I don't know where you pulled that from. "walk forward and listen to the characters talk" shit like TLOU is cancer too.

The good thing is that I enjoy every hour in my 120 hours playthrough, when I usually get bored 3 hours in for most RPG

>words words words words i never played the game

Really? Would you recommend a new player to play TW3 on the hardest?

Use quen, axii and dodge. Congrats you will never get touched again.

Dragon Quest 7

Damn are the console versions really this fucked up?

I've only played the PC version. Polished as hell and not a glitch in sight. Load times are barely noticable.

It's mostly me, I always attract glitches. Said friend said he only fell through the world once and there were a few cutscene where models were loaded twice.

SSD?

>if you get 100% completion

well no shit then Arkham Knight is the obvious winner with all the fucking riddles

but all the games are Polished

I put something like 450 hours into that game. So good. Original is probably a better contender lengthwise, since it's more linear.

Possibly persona 3/4 too due to the calendar system.

>I did all the rehashed sidequests and walked around looking at bandit camp #5423 and monster nest #2564 for 90 hours!
>wooow this game is loong!
I could spend 100+ hours in multiple AAA games, that doesn't make them good

well what are your rules then? just the main story? the main story is the shittiest part of TW3 and if you just rush through it without doing any side stuff it definitely isn't a long game.

listen this game gives you a gorillion iframes

so on hardest at least youll use deconcoctions and some basic potions

>listen this game gives you a gorillion iframes

Only the rolling has i-frames and only if you have that skill
Otherwise there are no iframes

And the sidestep is better than the rolling

Soulsfags kill yourselves

Witcher 3 did it right, iframes are cancer and only shows the lack of creativity and innovation from chinks

I didn't mean to trigger you friend just sayin its pretty easy to dodge in the game

Yes.

>its pretty easy to dodge in the game

thats because the gameplay isnt based around iframes therefore the enemies doesnt have shitretard tracking like in Souls, therefore they move realisticy therefore its easy to dodge them

if Souls enemies would obey the laws of physics and move realistic then those games would be even easier W3

I love witcher 3 but you are a mental if you think it has no i-frames outside of rolling.

Fuck, CDPR made an actual fucking video detailing how they work. I'd link to it if I wasn't posting fromy phone.

>i can prove you wrong
>i just cant post it

everytime

>Skyrim was a bad game first

No both games use an animation on a click not like you are controlling your swing like in mountain blayde and it just so happens that to time the dodging animation is pretty easy in the game

I love this game didn't even compare it to anything all my post said was higher difficulty was a good idea

Fuck it, I'll bite the bait

>since you're just searching for someone who is never there for no reason
Do you skip every single cutscene? They tell you within the first hour vast amounts of time

>gothic "mwahahaha" tier elves
They want Ciri's powers in order to transport their elves into the human world because theirs is on the brink of freezing from Ithlinne's prophecy.

>game should've rightfully ended
>I didn't play the game

>very good design making your ending rely on 5 completely retarded moments
The game ending relies on your very limited interactions with the most important character in the game? Fucking stupid.

Dumb phoneposter.

I think he's talking about this video. Wasn't made by CDP:R tho.
youtu.be/rPqKqTdkh4E

But yeah, you're retarded.

Hoe do you know he phoneposts?

Also
>browsing on pc

propably some chink grindan rpg

Another dumb phoneposter.

Really cause I iframe all day with my last minute dodges

>he doesn't browse on phone while playing ps4

bait

>No both games use an animation on a click not like you are controlling your swing like in mountain blayde and it just so happens that to time the dodging animation is pretty easy in the game

i dont even understand whats the 1st has to do with this
dodging is easy because enemies dont have unrealistic and retarded tracking like in Souls game

feel free to play a Souls game fight a boss without relying on iframes, instead try to dodge as if it would be real life

it wouldnt work because the boss would just rotate and track you and still hit you,
despite in real life he couldnt do that because of physics

all this is not in W3, W3 has no unrealistic tracking
it easier to dodge because enemies move according to the laws of physics

>Wasn't made by CDP:R tho.

Elias' dick is the longest

Summer in a thread

Compared to my 4 incher fully erect it is.

Morrowind can easily take way more than 300 hours. Last time i played it i got bored before reaching expansions after 220+ hours on powergaming build and i still had most of main story and like 20-30% of island not visited. No expansions either
The map is small but it's so stupidly dense. And unlike Oblivion dungeons are custom made with custom made loot so there's an actual reason to visit them.
BG2 is maybe 40 hours long. 60 if you are slow.

>Mount and Blade...
... Is shit? Keep the Turks and their slippery af game out.

This is some advanced retard-level bait.

you cant prove me wrong

kys fromfag

Side quests are great.

Anything involving Ciri was shit.

CDPR said, that CP will be ready in 2021.

>be me
>buy witcher 3 for 50$ instead of Pirating
>Get bored within the first 2 hours
>mfw every mission is the same
>Something's missing or strange
>Get clues, go to location
>Use Witcher Senses to find key clue that leads to Boss
>tfw so bored, why am I not playing Skyrim or Fallout NV
>Uninstall, Play Fallout New Vegas

Well fuck

use the level scaling option, it fix the dificult.

I'm not even the same guy you were talking to, but TW enemies animate like shit and certainly don't look like they adhere to physics. I'm not even a soulfag, you cpdcuck.

I just rejected Triss' kiss at the party, 40 hours playing, no end in sight.

I like the game but im scared to get tired about it before finishing it. At what point am I counting the expansions? 50%?

they animate fine

as i said you cant prove me wrong dear fromfag

Dwarf Fortress.

>50%

lmao

...

I don't feel like dragging out a ton of webms, but they look like shit and certainly don't follow any sort of implied physics, unless physics allows for shoddy hit detection, phantom hit boxes, bad geometricals, etc.

>i can prove you wrong
>i just wont because im lazy

as i said
you cant prove me wrong

Cyberpunk + another AAA game will be released between 2017 and 2021.

well no, the animations and physics aren't perfect, but you have to take in account that Soul's game are all for gameplay, there is almost no story except for a few bits

meanwhile the Witcher games sacrifice gameplay for story and meaningful quest, and the gameplay is enormously improved from Witcher 2, to the point where is fun

Can you give me an answer or an accurate % not involving meme words?
Thank you

>playing Bethesda games
This is not even bait. It's pure shitposting. You're not even triggering people. Bethesda games are so bad they have no real fans. Your post might as well have been empty. That is kind of an achievement on Bethesda's part. You make a product so extremely bad people don't even care about the jokes.

I'm at 110 hours and I'm a couple missions from the end, I think. Not counting the DLCs

Also not counting the gwent tourney or the million question marks

for reference.

heart of stone start at level 34 or something and you should do it before the main quest finish

Blood and Wine is meant to be for people who have finished the game so you should do it post-game

I'm assuming you are still at Novigrad, there is still another Triss quest and more sidequest to do until you go to skellige

im 89 hours in and I'm only finished main story skellige

Seriously trying too hard nigger
>cuck
>le
This is how I know you're a marketer and a disappointment to your parents.

...

I believe I'm around 50 hours as we speak, did almost all question mark, decide to skip most skellige because most question mark are in the sea.

In terms of decent quality unique content as a singleplayer game yeah theres not many games that give 120h+ without multiple replays.
Multiplayers obviously take much more time. I've spent much longer in runescape, wow , csgo but its either grinding or doing same thing over and over.
