Don't get me wrong MGS is a great series but come the fuck on

If you dont think MGS is iconic I think all the people who bought MGSV without ever playing metal gear would like to have a word with you.
Its also a series thats been going on for over 15 years, has multiple spinoffs, and is still making pachinko slots.

But now the company that is known for such unbelievably retarded business suddenly fires him, chances are that they did not just become aware that MGSV would need another year in the oven, rather it is vastly more likely that they hatched another one of their amazingly braindead yearly company reorientations and caused whatever followed.

Todd doesnt actually do anything, he just gives out ideas to the developers and also does PR. Kojiam is hands on and actually designs the game
