I played cities skyline intensely for the weekend I got it and then I got busy and haven't touched it since release. I keep wanting to play it again but can't bring myself to start it up.

Every sector of my city eventually turns into autistic square with fuckloads of traffic problems while being constantly in debt

Am I the only one that's bored with City Builders

Get the one that adds traffic that changes with the time of day and makes it so schools, for example, only have students during the day. Rush Hour, I think its called.

Skylines is a map editor, not a city builder. Try something else.

Does Factorio count? It scratches every itch a normal city builder does, but it feels like something new at the same time.
