Not owning a ps1 portable

>Not owning a ps1 portable
explain yourselves

I picked that exact model up for $50 a couple months ago and had it hacked in fifteen minutes. I friggin love it. Any suggestions on how to not accidentally trigger standby mode every fucking five seconds when I play street fighter?

>ps1
>widescreen

triggers my autism.

what, nigger?

res can be changed

>playing on a Sony Flip-phone

>thinking that's a sony flip phone
Explain yourself.

Uh oh

Is the dpad on this model better than the 1000 model PSP? I tried playing some fighters on that and the controls were fucking terrible.

ps1 has no games just like every Sony console ever made, you might as well buy a ds, at least then you could pirate stuff

There's no need to get upset.

Nigga I don't own a single legit ps1 game. All I have are burned cds. Learn to modchip.

1000 has the worst dpad by far. It's super mushy.
Go has a pretty decent dpad. Close to the PS3 dpad if you have one.
If you want a really great dpad and don't mind actually buying games then get a Vita

I have a vita with psp cfw bubble

I recently bought a used go and the buttons feel quite pressed-in.

Is it normal for the Go dpad and square triangle, cross buttons to have really small travel?

Well the console itself is pretty small so no doubt

They all have small travel since it doesn't have much space since it's so thin.
You didn't mention the O button so does that one feel fine to you compared to the others? I bought mine new like 5 years ago and all of mine feel the same with small travel but feel nice to press.

I live the psp go form factor. Wish the released an updated version.

Maybe the Chinese will have some knock off with an X1 processer

>tfw no second analog stick

Suffering.

i will never pay money for proprietary memory

They all just have small travel including the circle button. It doesn't bother me to be honest, I just wanted to know if it was normal and it probably is and makes sense for the deivces size.

I own a PS Vita as well for comparisson and those buttons have much longer travel and seem to be made out of the same material/design, that's why I asked.

>If you want a really great dpad and don't mind actually buying games then get a Vita
Vita's D-pad is underrated as fuck

The console is worse than dogshit but hot damn that D-pad

>tfw primary analog stick is shite as well

I tried to play FU on my GO. I ran about two quests and went back to emulating P3RDHD with a proper dualshock

Because I have that PEE ESS TRIPLE

With the Go you don't need to, as it comes with 16 gb internal memory.

GO comes with 16gb internal.

fucking this. if there was no lag i would use that shit to play tekken on.

Plus there's chinese knockoffs for like $5

>not playing with the claw
You will never experience the true MH

>The console is worse than dogshit

Literally the only exclusive console worth owning these days.

I wish there was a Vita Tekken.

Agreed, its one of the best handhelds ever made, period. It's easily better than the 3DS and DS and Vita combined. I own all systems fyi but the PSP was truly god-like and with a criminally underrated library.

That being said I don't know why people say the Vita 1000~3000 isn't the pinnacle of portable D-Pad's, to me it is easily the most comfiest and the most ergonomic dpad in the history of consoles. I cant get over how good they felt to press.

Does this use memory sticks as memory?

PSP GO or Gameboy micro?
which would you get?

I love my psp.
Great portable, great games

So what are good PS1 games that don't need both L1/R1 and L2/R2, so you can play them on psp?

Spyro is really good for that, you can either set L/R for camera control or sideroll, and neither are necessary, I've beaten the game without manual camera controls and that sideroll was useful maybe once, so you can get rid of either

I tried playing Armored Core and boy was that not a pretty good idea

I wish Vita could play PS2 games

I hacked mines already and it's been a nice PSP/PS1 handheld.

And microSD adapter for $1

So psp psx popsloader isnt broken anymore?
Can i play any psx game i want ?

PSP go.

You can play GB/C/A games on the PSP but you can't play PSP games on the Micro.

What you should know is both devices made sacrifices to their screen size, both are smaller than their original hardware units but the Micro's screen I personally feel is way too fucking small to be enjoyable.

I do fullscreen scaled GBA games on the PSP go and it works perfectly. The only thing that bothers me is using X,O buttons instead of A,B. It feels unnatural abit

I was using mine a lot until just recently to replay thru Freedom. Was at the urgent to unlock 5* quests went I put it down for Generations.

doesn't this use memory stick micro m2?

Almost all jrpgs

psp go, you can CFW it and literally play every retro console on it.

Azure dreams. Just use the control scheme that makes select + R1 do R2, and select + L1 do L2. It's all turn based so you're in no rush to push anything fast.

Yeah and no adapter that I know about. Good luck with the prices of them since they're almost Vita expensive now.

What's with the PSP Go threads lately? There's like one everyday. I hope this becomes a thing.

Underrated console.

Has anyone here played Wild Arms?

Should I play the remake on PS1 or the original?

We can only hope for a Tekken 7 port for Vita.
