CDPR makes games at a pretty consistent basis, usually one game every four years.

But considering they have been doing some preliminary work for a while now, I;ll take a year off.

At some point they had to migrate to the W3 engine and it definitely increased in scope given the success of W3. Who knows when it'll actually come out, but when they re-unveil it I expect them to announce a release date that isn't far after. No way would you remind people it exists and then make them wait.

They specifically said they wanted to do a Fallout 4 like unveil, so they won't show it again until the can announce a release date a long with it.

They also had increased the size of their team and now they have multiple studios going. Their main one didn't even work on B&W as they were working on Cyberpunk. Since Cyberpunk is also using REDengine 3 then I will imagine that it will also save them some time.

I think it's still going to be a while since it will be the first time they will be doing multiplayer as well.
