I love the game, but it has far too many problems for that.

the elder scrolls games are so much better than fallout. fallout feels so empty and barren in comparison. some people say its supposed to feel like that but not from what i've heard about the first two games.

One of the greatest Fallout games, that's for sure.

Well it does take place in a desert and in the other games everything was wrecked by nukes. It's not supposed to be like TES where you are always finding friendly towns and travellers.

Have you played Skyrim or ESO for more than, I dunno, 5 minutes? Those games are boring as fuck.

wasn't really referring to skyrim in particular but that game also has a much richer environment than either of the 3D fallout games. the dialogue isn't as good as new vegas but that's what morrowind and oblivion are for.

There is no great music to keep you company, and the walking simulation is just clicking a map until you either get into a random encounter, or find a settlement. The first two make you feel isolated and alone just like the 3d ones until you find companions. In fact, that is the Interplay were trying to convey, I mean it says post-apocalyptic role-playing game on the original box.
