Post the game you're most looking forward to in 2016 and why it's no mans sky.
No Mans Sky
I'm looking forward to it in 2017 when it'll be $5
i'm more than happy to pay $60 for unlimited content and gameplay.
You can do ANYTHING!
Anything?
I'm not saying its impossible for this game to deliver, its just that history has taught me to really really fucking doubt it.
Im excited and I remember spore.
NMS has a limited amount of planets, so why don't you play Dwarf Fortress instead? There's no limit to how many procedural worlds you can generate, so it has literally unlimited content and gameplay.
I mean, it's actually finite, but there's fucking a lot
I wonder if someone with enough autism came along to work out how a lot
nu-males sky
cuck
i dont want to manage my toilet paper inventory
did I miss any memes?
Civ 6
Deus Ex
Watch Dogs 2
that's pretty much it
Devs are whites and some have beards
That's about it.
>I want a super complex procedural game
>fuug I don't want a complex game
Make up your mind
Thanks, I'll get it in the next thread
>People actually falling for the "it has infinite content" meme
Like Elite Dangerous?
Having technology to do that limits your ability to actually develop fun stuff to do, because you get jank. And time spent on tons of different bullshit that's all the same.
>Post the game you're most looking forward to in 2016
you already did OP
It will be my go to "comfy" game for a while, but
>the game you're most looking forward to in 2016
Was never even a candidate.
I think it's going to be a neat time killer and fits for something to fool around with after work. Therefore Sup Forums will continue to shit post about it because no other big game is out for the immediate future
>out in two weeks
>no gameplay for 6+ months
deus ex is out like two weeks after
Sup Forums will shitpost about it because it will be fucking awful
>that ramp up to the fall season
oh fuck I almost forgot, thanks for the reminder man
Remember to sage and report no man's shills
I think after that, Mafia 3 is the next title I'm looking at, which is early October
>That E3 video where the creator actually sounds super happy explaining the game
I always feel bad when I hear it.
Which graphics set is that?
>Watch Dogs 2
Wat. Why?
gosh wow, what an original perspective. your analysis is so intricately nuanced
It's actually a pretty valid thing to bring up, though. It's a repeating cycle, and it's not just Spore. Nowdays it seems really common for devs to go LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF YOU CAN DO!
Only for it to either be shallow, propped up by bullshots and scripted trailers, or cut from the game. It's getting increasingly more stupid to get hyped for features in a game before they're released and proven.
the dev has listed like, 5 things you can do, idiot
op here iv'e never heard of it, ill defs check it out though.
That's funny because every thread says they've mentioned "NUMEROUS NON STOP ACTIONS TO PERFORM, LITERALLY ENDLESS AND YOU CAN DO WHATEVER!"
And for a fact I know they've shown more than 5 options, what with all that space station shit and language bullshit.
those are called shitposts
say, are you enjoying your first summer with internet access?
So you're saying that No Mans Sky actually doesn't have infinite content, is infact finite and contains nothing new like alien languages you have to decipher and space stations?
Hm. It's almost like No Mans Sky has nothing to do. I'm glad you taught me that, user.
These 2 games.
No Mans Sky can last me at least until F1 2016 is released, which will last me a long fucking time by the looks of it.
>not literal infinity = 0
Well, nothing original anyway.
So I've been thinking about what I'm going to do first in No Man's Sky and I really have a great idea.
I think that when I start the game I will make a break for the center of the universe, picking up npcs along the way to help me with my journey, as I go along the galaxy picking up trade routes to keep my supplies up, I will start hunting other factions and create wars arbitrarily by making conflicts without civilizations knowing who started it. I will then begin to sell both sides weapons that I salvage from fighting bandits and propagate the war to an insane degree. Then when all the sectors near the center of the universe are fighting a perpetual war, I will finally move to the center and create a base where bandits can live without the fear of being ruled by a society, no planet to call home too, just where bandits can live their lives to the fullest, through constant war, If I see anyone from Sup Forums or any human player for that matter I will give them a choice to join and if they decline I will destroy their ship, take them to a remote planet and leave them there to die. I will be a legend in the battlefield and noone, literally noone will be able to stop me.
Who fucking hype here for No Man's Sky??
Didn't one of the old Elite games basically play like that? I remember one of them had an arms dealing thing and an aggression thing.
why are you responding to pasta?
>pasta
This is my first time posting this comment friend, go fucking yourself you reverse-shill.
I'm not replying to the pasta, I'm simply bringing up vague memories of Elite having similar systems that I thought were rad. I'm not actually sure it was Elite though.
See we're on this thing called an imageboard where you post things so that other people can reply to you and a discussion can be born.
...
>I can lead my friends in big ass space battles
>We can become a roaming horde of space pirates
>tfw I can finally become a space pirate captain
...
I posted it here because I didn't realize that a thread was already up, check the archives, this is an original post, and again, go fuck yourself shill.
No discussion. Only shitposts. It's the post >2011 way.
>it isn't copy pasting
>all i did was copy the text and paste it somewhere else
>he's a such a newshit tourist he actually doesn't know what copypasta is
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
The first thing I am going to do is create an intergalactic pirate fleet that starve's trade routes in the planet's sector, completely destabilizing their economy. Once I do this and recruit my own army of pirates I will force the galaxy to surrender to me and eventually make them all slaves and genetically modify them with the crafting system into orcs from 40k to be used as fodder for wars. Then I will scour the galaxy with my armada searching for people to fight and once I see their ship I will force them to surrender and drop them off on a remote planet and steal their ship from them. Once that is done I will send a detachment of orks to hunt the player as he cannot escape and do this continually to anyone I find.
I will also use the chemical compounds in the game to disrupt atmospheres on rival planet's causing natural disasters that completely wipe out entire populations.
Why are you quoting me?
>implying there's multiplayer or even base building of any kind
Oh anons...
How are you going to do that in a single player game?
Hey guys if it spawns you in a random location at the border of the universe then what if I try turning around and go the opposite way?
Probably Dude Sex, that's this year, right?
You ever play that waveracer game where a giant tentacle grabs you and flings you back onto the track?
I was just bringing up good memories. The real answer is probably "Warning: Entering unenterable space zone, you explode now"
I've seen the pasta before. Or at least something similar like ten times already. Basically amounts to
"I'm looking forward to NMS *wink*, let me list a bunch of shit that I know won't be in the game to piss people off LEL XD"
It won't, everyone will spawn in a certain range from the centre.
Most likely you'll just run out of stars to jump to.
>dude said there's more than 1 galaxy
>you start in single galaxy
>supposed to get to the center of the galaxy
>it will just teleport you to the edge of another galaxy
You know this is all that's going to happen and there's nothing you can do about it.
so what?
Nothing. Just pointing out that there's nothing special at the center. I'm fine with it, too.
Literally saw that yesterday, go end yourself you memespouting little shit.
But Dark Souls 3 already came out
Find that exact post in the archives. I'll wait newshit, oh wait you won't because I literally wanted to discuss a cool idea I had for the game that I want to do.
>there is gameplay after X therefore X is not special
...
What? Are you feeling okay, user?
Cool your autism, I want this game to be good and I already gave them my money.
If you stop pretending to be retarded, you might start feeling better about yourself.
Find that exact post I posted in the archives, oh wait you can't so you calling it copypasta is completely fucking retarded. Wait, don't tell me you don't know how to check archives??/ HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
>3 no man's sky threads
you guys are really triggered by this game huh?
You're both fucking retarded for arguing with anonymous people about bullshit like pasta.
This post perfectly sums up exactly everything you will never be able to do in NMS
Damn this sounds fucking sick man, haven't been really following it so definitely going to pre-order now. Now I know why it's been up on the top sellers on steam. Thanks for the info.
Citation needed*****
But there is multiplayer, Sean said so.
i preordered it last week but the recent screens at the japan event that show the same cloud texture for different planets... thats an inmersion breaker.
It lowered my hype
>Post the game you're most looking forward to in 2016 and why it's no mans sky.
Does this game has some Wang in it? No? Then fuck it,I want some Wang
Are you done hyperventilating boyo?
You replied to a post 42 minutes later with a response like that?
user that's a little, just a tiny bit, sad.
>he thinks he will be able to do any of this
KEK
Is this a false flag or is someone gullible enough to believe this shit geyser of lies?
Don't clouds look the same on different planets?
6gb
There's multiplayer but there's no systems like inviting friends, lobbies, meet ups spots, etc. If you ever played journey it's like that. Co-op is essentially impossible and furthermore it's designed as a single player game with a very slim chance of interactions with other people. Heck you won't even know who's human because everyone will look like an NPC. Not to mention only certain amount of players will be able to appear in a given system. It's just giving you the feeling of playing with other people without actually doing so.
He meant that the textures used to show clouds on distant planets is apparently the same.
underrated shillpost
Yes I know it's gonna be like journey but even harder to find anyone, let alone friends.
>Not to mention only certain amount of players will be able to appear in a given system
Do you think that's a limitation on the software or one set in place deliberately by the developers?
>Ctrl+F Bannerlords
>0 results
> Sup Forums
...
Probably software, because once you make players meeting up possible why would you put an arbitrary limit.
...
more
the old paste is auto ban by now i think, anyone brave enough to post it?
