Does anyone miss it except me?

Does anyone miss it except me?

I do, but the way they handled darksiders 2 really soured my taste for the series.

Kinda yes, kinda no.
I loved the first game, but if we somehow did get a third one, and it was more like 2, I'd throw it in the trash right where it would belong.

You mean the graphics patch that ruined everything?

Yes. That's how you do a motherfucking cliffhanger ending. And then do nothing about it in the sequel. Next Darksiders game IS in the works, though.

I actually really like DS2 for all the loot and RPG trappings it didn't need. I liked how, even though the game was much bigger than the original, combat was a smaller part and basically took backseat to platforming and exploration. Which is really weird when you consider they expanded the combat systems so much. And, well, Death actually had character unlike War. I have no idea what Deathfinitive Edition did right or wrong because I skipped it.

It looks terrible on its on but you can fix the colors with a sweetfx and the textures are actually a huge improvement. Shame about the bugs tho

Ending still gives me chills. It's so pompous badass comic book shit tier, but it hits the right spot.

Studio got pwned along with THQ, as I remember.

Nordic acquired the IP and they found a developer for the next game.

I have some shitty shadow abberations, like shaders fail at half of a task and I get only mapping.

Nordic are the guys responsible for Alan Wake?

>Strife staggers through the desert and thinks what does it mean to be a Horseman

one of the only games I hated so much i scratched on purpose to return it and get my money back

Darksiders is cool ideas that don't come together very well.

It's like they said "Warhammer is cool, Devil May Cry is cool, Zelda is cool, what if we put them all in one game?"

I respect the effort but game design choices like loot in DS2 was just puzzling. Just because you love bacon and you love strawberry cake doesn't mean it's a good idea to mix them into one dish.

Nah, Nordic Games is a publisher. Alan Wake was developed by Remedy.

And the SpellForce franchise as well.

Everyday user.

I replay 1 once a year. 2 was not as good.

>nordic

welp. so it's pretty much guaranteed they gave it to the lowest bidder and they don't even have joe madureira on-board.

one of my favorite games, really hope it gets a sequel

At least he's working on Battle Chasers video game.

>gigantic warrior men
>skinny ass bitch with balloon tits

Why is this always a thing
