Most of the old guard "in the industry" will tell you that it is not good for productivity. It makes sense because it splits your attention; not only will it make you focus less on what you are doing, but you are also giving your brain additional input making the skills you are honing less likely to stick.
That said, if you're drawing on here or in your own time you don't have deadlines to uphold. You can always scrap things or go back and fix mistakes if you so please.
Don't be too hard on yourself, if you find you enjoy drawing more with music on your ears then that's great. What's important is that you keep drawing at all.
