AtGames has been making these consoles for several years. They're terrible.

40 of the games are genesis titles, the other 40 are plug and play crap.

The controller are horrible. Line of site wireless garbage. The system itself is SOAC hardware and the audio quality is terrible.

There's also no HDMI on this thing.

50hz on old tubes is basically 60fps to the human eye once the signal gets to the screen.

Convenience. Obviously some people are savvy enough to just use an emulator but for Jim Everyman the idea of a new version of "that Nintendo I had when I was a kid" that plugs into your tv and has 30 games on it is almost too good to be true.
