SPACE MARINES ATTACK
SPACE MARINES ATTACK
Post missions you want to play, if they make an actual good DoW
I want basically this youtu.be
>IG armor is forced to retreat in massive numbers
>you play as Space Marines covering the convoy
>you've got Fireraptors, Devastators, Tactical marines ranged Dreadnaughts and Predators
>a few missions later your infantry gets encircled
>suddenly Leman Russes, Baneblades and Basilisk arrive and pound the enemy into dust
>it's the regiment you saved earlier, the more you saved the more awesome the charge is
>Space Marines covering the convoy
No
Depends on the chapter senpai.
They added Eldar and Orkz are coming soon. The game gets updated frequently.
Why aren't you playing with other diehard 40k fans?
Not interested by the gameplay whatsoever. Where the fuck is my Inquisitor cRPG?
I don't even care if it's a well done mod for a mechwarrior game, I just want to stomp on shit with a titan
>No
>Who are Lamenters
Literally, unironically neck yourself.
too barbones at the moment, will also wait for the balancing pass
Lamenters are faggots
Because its just a shitty version of SM multiplayer with lots of crap tacked on
Maybe Salamanders would do this but generally, yes, no.
Lamenters, Salamanders, Imperial Fists, even the fucking Ultramarines would do it.
that motherfucker's probably in the alpha legion right now tzeentching around, alpha legion probably tzeentching so hard not even they know what the plan is
It's a waste of astartes. Space marines are not UN peacekeepers, they are shock troops who go in, do their job and go out.
>dismemberment with wires
Since when are Space marines robot-men. That's an iron warrior thing, isn't it.
Lamenters are the only Spess Muhreens, who are actually the good guys in the shitty grimdark world of w40k. They're literally Space Jesus: The Chapter and are the only chapter to prioritize the well being and survival of regular, worthless civilians, be they engineers from a high-tech manufactorum world or some mouthbreathing peasants from an agricultural world, over any sort of tactical or strategical considerations as well as their own well being as well.
Any mature, intelligent, well adjusted individuals play Lmenters as their spess muhreen chapters, while underage edgelords pick shit chapters like Blood Angels.
Salamanders and Space Furries are known for that as well.
>who are actually the good guys in the shitty grimdark world of w40k
And that's why they are faggots. Same goes for Salamanders. Guardsmen are expendable. Entire planetary populations are expendable. Space marines are not.
I'd assume even if he isn't in the iron hands that if he loses and arm and isn't injured enough to go into a dreadnought they just give him a robot arm
BATTLE BROTHERS
Necron are the only true race ,the other are degenerated fleshlings
...
shit chapter if that's the case
>Space marines are not
kek.
Devotion to a cause is tested through how much you're ready to sacrifice for it. Lamenters have literally sacrificed everything for the sake of regular human beings, who would be considered expendable by other chapters.
Salamanders and Space Wolves know nothing about devotion to the average schmuck in w40k world in comparison to the Lamenters, because they have never been truly tested by the circumstances and have never ever fought against the odds the Lamenters were pitted against.
So how does everyone feel about DoW3? Are you all really so pessimistic about it's chances? Personally I think it's looking fine for the stage in development.
...
We need SM with smaller pauldrons like OP
>Lamenters were pitted against
Istvaan and Armageddon says hi.
...
If it's playable, I'll buy it.
But then GW wont own the monopoly to sue for PAULDRONS
According to Matt Ward the SW litterally put themselves in fron of inquisitional fire without fighting back to save civilians from exterminatus. If that's not devotion and sacrifice for the average Joe I don't know.
>Matt Ward
...
There's a reason I mentioned that name preemptively. But hate it or not it is canon
The guys who made Van Helsing are doing an 40k RPG with a similar style
You misunderstand how difficult it is to have intervention troops ready somewhere. The Imperium is huge and if you need a very sensitive mission such as escorting a chaos artifact, the imp guard won't do so Space Marines can be appropriate.
>canon
>in anything gw related
DIGGANOBZ
I want a cRPG like pic related, not some watered down diablo
>letting the Emperor's men to die and the tanks of the Imperium to be destroyed
Literally heresy and cowardice. Every Chapter would try to save them if possible. Some would take bigger risk and maybe sacrifice some of their own.
Except Lamenters are on the other extreme of faggotry. Sacrificing Marines to die completely pointless deaths is retarded. It's worth saving people, but not if you fuck up and get Marines eradicated in the process. Now the Imperium is weakened with the deaths of the Marines and then saved civilians are poor refugees without any protection.
>completely pointless deaths
That's the whole point. They do not consider saving the lives of average human beings, even at the cost of their own, as something pointless.
They give people hope in the Emperor, because when no one else will come to save your worthless ass, they will, even if it means dying along with you.
>Hive City being besieged by the Tyranids.
>The last remnant of the Guard Regiment and PDF are holding out the only gate separating Nids and what's left of the Hive citizens.
>Your mission if to kill as many Nids before EXTERMINATUS.
>When the EXTERMINATUS timer runs out you got a message from an allied Imperium forces, telling you to hold on a while longer and that the EXTERMINATUS has been called off.
>If you hold long enough the entire Tyranid lines got broken by a wave of pic related.
>The rest of the mission is pest control.
What the hell is your point.
40k canon is as reliable as plasma weapons.
>mfw yesterday the whole Eternal Crusade forums exploded because openworld and campaign maps were ditched and the game will be just another lobby shooter
Damn meant as reply for
So is your LAmenters canon then. What a retarded discussion...you lead it ad absurdum.
>>Your mission if to kill as many Nids before EXTERMINATUS.
Literally what's the point
really?!
Jesus christ
>"Where is my inquisitor cRPG?"
>"Here it is."
>"No no, I want it to be like this and this and this and..."
Fucking Inquisition faggots fuck off
If you think Van Helsing is a cRPG clearly you are wrong.
>while underage edgelords pick shit chapters like Blood Angels
>Not knowing Lamenters are a Blood Angels successor chapter.
>Not knowing the Blood Angels are as altruistic as the Lamenters but are more successful about it.
Plus there are many chapters that prioritizes human life.
>The Crimson Fists endanger what little marines they have after the near destruction of their chapter to safely escort civilian survivors to safety. Pedro (the Chapter Master) even carried a mother and her child after she collapsed from exhaustion.
>The Salamanders live alongside normal citizens instead of being holed up in a monastery like the other chapters. As a result they view mortals as equals and will ALWAYS go for civilian search and rescue in campaigns.
>The Space Wolves said fuck you to the INQUISITION when the latter tried to kill the surviving civilians of a war with Chaos. Logan Grimnar even killed a Lord Inquisitor and a Grey Knight's MASTER over this.
The Lamenters are just incompetent/unlucky in their altruism, doesn't make them the only good chapter.
when is this coming out?
You gotta admit Sanguinius was based as fuck.
Yeah check out ZoranTheBear's latest interview with Brent.
>those poor sods who payed 500+$ right now
Thank god I refunded the piece of shit back in December.
>This Heretic REFUSES to die fighting for the Emprah.
Someone's gonna get Inquisitioned.
Not nearly soon enough. I've already got 3 other people lined up to go purging.
when you gain enough brouzouf
It's not about not dying for the emprah, it's about fighting when virus bombs are hitting in a few seconds anyway.
>rpg
>played on computer
?????
Gosh darn it
>you roleplay as a soldier in battlefield therefore it's a rpg, if you play it on pc, it's now a crpg
Now fuck off, I obviously use the same definition as anyone who knows what a goddamn crpg is, a game with an emphasis on choices and consequences and roleplaying, not some retarded hack and slash, I'd rather play Path of Exile.
Since it has localised damage you can damage your legs, right?
>cherrypicking
Just like an Inquisitionfag
>Being wrong
Typical of a radical scum.
I'm hoping for a mech warrior style limp when one of you legs gets taken out.
>Have all of your siblings unanimously agree you are the best of them.
>Only Primarch to be loved by all of his brothers (even Angron respects him.)
>Have Horus be jealous of him even after the former became his boss.
>Got chosen to be the Emperor's heir despite himself.
>Takes on BLOODTHIRSTERS like a terminator takes on grots.
>Still have enough energy after said fight to dent the armor of a Primarch supercharged by the four chaos gods.
>The only Primarch to have a holiday celebrated by everyone in the Imperium (even those from different chapters)
I'm a Space Wolves guy myself but Sanguinius is by far the greatest Primarch.
>universe with no women
are WHfags literally gay?
Hahaha, what the fuck were you retards expecting?
The developers make nothing but shovelware trash like pic related. How they even got the license in the first place is a mystery to me, Eternal Crusade was doomed from it's inception. I've been saying this for years. Literally years.
Behavior games, avoid like the plague.
Horus was objectively the greatest of them all before he fell to Erebus' corruption. He obviously held Sanguinius in very high esteem but Sanguinius wasn't chosen as Warmaster for a reason.
>This Heretic refuses to POINTLESSLY die fighting for the Emprah.
You dun goofed, citizen.
>Sanguinius wasn't chosen as Warmaster for a reason.
The reason was because the Emperor is an incompetent idiot.
Tons of women. Sister of battle are a women-only organisation, there are plenty of very high ranking female officers.
Every Space Marine is content in giving his life for the Imperium. The problem with Lamenters is that they give it away pointlessly. A single Space Marine is priceless. A Marine sacrificing himself so that his squadmates or other Imperial forces might live and fight on makes sense. A Marine sacrificing himself so that civilians can get away safely makes sense in certain scenarios. Like if the Imperial forces can actually get those civilians to safety and make sure they get treated as refugees, not just dumped on the nearest planets underhive.
Lamenters get themselves killed and the civilians too most likely. They acomplish nothing and severely weaken the Imperium
Post cute.
AM PIN DOWN BROTHERS!
Not to mention the different assassin cults, where women do what they can do best: deceive
...
>doesn't actually know anything about WH40
>Has a dumb opinion about it
Saw that one coming a mile away.
>being this fucking wrong
cutest battleship
Post best Chapter Master.
Pic absolutely related

We are the imperial navy

>tfw you'll never be a member of the Great Crusade prior to the Horus Heresy
>tfw you'll never conquer worlds after worlds with your battle brothers
>tfw you'll never join your Primarch into the fray and exterminate xenos for the glory of the Imperium
>tfw you'll never be the mailed fist of the Emperor, the speartip of the Imperium of Mankind before it became a hollow shell of its former self
>tfw you'll never fight with your Emperor
send help

...
The Crimson Fist were kinda assholes to the civilians at first though. Pedro told the mother to carry her own children and keep up if she wants to follow them and only carried her when she nearly died of exhaustion, he was amazed by her conviction.
And Wolves
How many of you actually paint the models?
There's a difference between CRPG and ARPG.
They're way too expensive. I read the Eisenhorn and Horus Heresy series though.
Pretty much the opening mission of World in Conflict Soviet assault, going into west Berlin, but in reverse, as the Imperial Guard. Desperately trying to hold off a giant chaos invasion, progressively being pushed back, tons of AI units fighting on your side, airstrikes and artillery falling everywhere.
I really want a larger scale Dawn of War, I feel like it better represents the universe, however it doesnt seem thats the way RTS games are going. Fine, but to make us feel part of a larger battle they should look to World In conflict. WiC you never really controlled more then maybe 5 tanks and 4 infantry squads unless you invested entirely in one of the other. Yet it never felt small, because there was so much going on with AI forces in the area assisting you or having their own battles.
Also more games NEED WiCs call down system for artillery/air support. It was fucking fantastic.
Because its not open world MMO and is just Space Marine multiplayer with larger maps and more players.
Trasimene lake re-enactement, Teutoburg Forest re-enactement, Isstvar massacre re-enactement.
I do. Used to paint Space Wolves but now painting the Harlequins.
