I just finished this and got the bad ending. How the fuck was I suppose to know throwing around snowballs over having a drink would change my ending? All I wanted was for Geralt to end up with Triss at the end. Fucking CDPR.
I just finished this and got the bad ending...
that isn't the only thing, you have to fuck up royally like 3 times to get that ending
you're dumb
>how was I supposed to know encouraging my daughter to drown her sorrows in booze was a worse option than spending some quality time with her and making her smile?
And that's why it's a good thing that you're never becoming a parent
>he wanted to end up with Triss
You got the ending you deserve because you very clearly weren't paying attention.
I chose drinks because I figured it let her chill from stressing out over training. I went into the meeting with the lodge with her because it sounded like she wanted me too but I let her decide what she wanted to do. In the lab I told her to calm down because the other option seemed like nonsense. I took her to see Skjalls grave.
After playing 1 & 2 id rather have geralt with Triss than Yen. Bitch wasn't even around during the first two games.
I reiterate, you very clearly weren't paying attention.
So you fucked up everything but one thing
That's where having read the books and knowing the character backgrounds helps you with those decisions
Weak bait
I prefer the edgy ending to and they all lived happily together
The retirement ending doesn't even make sense for the characters
I think what makes me the most upset is that I can't speak to anyone in the world now besides Dandelion and Zoltan. I didn't even get to see the interactions between Geralt and Triss and Yen after Ciri left. Like wtf.
>I didn't even get to see the interactions between Geralt and Triss and Yen after Ciri left. Like wtf.
Yen loved Ciri as a daughter, Triss loved her as a little sis. You tell me why they fucked off without a word
>besides Dandelion and Zoltan
All Geralt will ever need.
Need more drunken parties with Dandy and Zolty.
The bad ending is still pretty good writing, senpai.
Plus you get an extra boss fight.
Not him, but what was her excuse again? Emhyr was keeping her in Nilfgaard, wasn't he?
But it's not Geralt's fault she died, she was his daughter first and foremost.
You'd think they would console him or sth.
>But it's not Geralt's fault she died
But that's wrong. Also
>Ciri died
She can travel through time and space at will, what makes you so sure she just didn't leave to never return because Geralt was a shit dad?
Holy shit never have children OP. Fucking bad dads.
yea it's retarded.
because that would be stupid
driving your dad to essentialy suicide because he didn't have a snowball fight with you seems kinda excessive
Good Guy CDPR does the entire world a solid and lets us easily pick out the people who should never have children.
>autism
Doing it because he didn't give a fuck and told you to drink over your dead uncle, because he didn't trust you to deal with a situation and shadowed you in a reunion where you had a chance to deal with a very personal matter, because he tried to make you embrace the very thing he knows you hate, or because he didn't give two fucks about the guy who gave his life so you could have a chance to escape. Pick any three
>Not playing with your daughter in the snow
>not destroying everything around to make her happy
Pls dont have children OP
none of these are clear cut good/bad decisions, especially with the whole wild hunt business going around
amd things like vesemir's death could affect geralt too
besides, even if we agree that those were terrible things to do, how does that invalidate all the years geralt spent caring for ciri
Sup Forums and trissfags literally BTFO
>how does that invalidate all the years geralt spent caring for ciri
Read a book, nigger
Ciri is separated from Geralt and Yen as a very young teen, and they don't get to see her again until the events of Witcher 3. Seeing all this shit, guessing you go the bad route, would serve as an eye opener for Ciri to see that maybe Geralt wasn't the sort of man she thought he was
How do you get the good ending?
By using your parental instincts. You either have them or not.
he still cared for her for years, nigger
she's also at least 16 at the end of saga
But I'm sure she would leave him grief stricken for the rest of his life for some parental fuckups, I mean he told her to DRINK! What fucking monster. It's not like the last thing she does is save his life in saga.
>That's where having read the books and knowing the character backgrounds helps you with those decisions
that's shitty design
You keep clinging to the drinking while completely voiding the other three fuck ups you can pile up on top of that, fucko
and you keep having zero believable argumemnts for why would she do something so cruel, fucko
My Ciri left to rule Nilfgaard. I was hoping she'll be a witcher, just like her dad but I guess taking her to the White Flame Dancing on the Graves of his Foes to just talk was a bad idea....
Oh, well. She's her own grown-up woman, she can make her own mind. I'll support her as a good dad would.
you should have finish heart of stone before finding ciri. and ask odim how to find her, he ndoesnt know how, but he tells you what you need to do to get the good ending
