Poison is fucking awesome, you guys. It's not exactly great for romping through the game (which is why I didn't like it initially), but taking on the True Arena with it is fun as hell. It's really interesting how there's an actual DOT ability in Kirby now.

Hammer will get you through the rest of the fights (except maybe Dedede Clones) just fine because they're all so pattern-based, and you can usually take everything out before they get too deep into their patterns, but Galacta can be pretty random/risky Just keep abusing those invincibility frames whenever possible. Down-B is your friend.

Dedede clones piss easy with hammer.

I forgot how much fun Kirby is. I almost wanna buy a new 3ds so I can play it. Why is Kirby so fun? It makes me feel happy when I play it.

I almost have, lost at the final final final boss in true arena though. After that I just have some stickers to clean up.

In my experiences, it's hard to deal with 3 separate enemies who are all doing their own thing and constantly chasing and dogpiling you every chance they get. It's tough to get in close without eating hits, even though Hammer's DPS makes that phase go really fast. Sometimes it just feels like a matter of "use Dash-B and hope you come out of the animation on the other side of the mob instead of inside of it".

I honestly feel like powerless kirby is easier than a lot of shitty powers like parasol or circus, spitting stars does a lot of damage and if you're just waiting and dodging until the boss makes some stars instead of being in their face you won't take damage often.

Poison is really fucking fun to use, I wish every ability was as fleshed out as it and doctor. Just compare it to beam or bomb, which each have like 3 moves total.

I disagree, it's fun since it makes you learn the boss's pattern. Normally when I have a power I just wail on them & never learn the pattern much since I rape them too fast.

Sectonia fucks my shit up when I try to fight her with Poison. How do I git gud?

What move in particular hits you? Just set some poison clouds in two of the three positions she teleports to.

It's all the teleport shit she does, for some reason I can't seem to get out of the way of her swords a lot of the time. I might just be getting greedy and going for more attacks than I can get away with, since I considered her really easy when going Hammer.

Depending on what ability you have you can just abuse I frames to get through her sword swipes, short of that a well-timed dodge roll or spot dodge gets you through unscathed.

When she does the teleporting strike stuff, what you should do is set up clouds behind you, and only committing to attacks once she fake-out teleports

I finished it 100%, all stickers and had a fucking blast the last weeks. Once I reached 100% it was no doubt that I needed to support that shit.

Start with Super Star Ultra, Robobot is a lot more meaningful if you play SSU first

Start at the original, Kirby's Adventure or Super Star/Super Star Ultra (play the original for better multiplayer or play Ultra for more content).
