Is NX a bigger blunder than the Wii U?

Why couldn't nintendo have a dedicated set top box and a dedicated handheld that share games?

The NX will be underpowered and unnecessarily expensive for those who want to use it as a console.
It will be unnecessarily bulky for thsoe want a handheld.
I don't know what they were thinking desu.

I genuinely don't give a shit. I'm enough of a pokefag to buy it if it has a pokemon rpg game.

The WiiU failed because it didn't have any pokemon games. All they have to do is just release a pokemon xd gale of shit for me to get it.

I don't have narrow views on what makes a good video game experience. As long as it plays cool games then why should I give a fuck? I'm not a hardware engineer therefor I don't know shit about what makes appealing gaming consoles.

And if you want a dedicated system then buy a PS4, asshole. They're not going to offer a third option of the same shit.

>Tom Phillips at Eurogamer reports that
Fuck. So now other sites are just reiterating the baseless rumors all over already.

Wasn't clear by Zelda trailer?
>Look at these glorious PS2 graphics
>You can free roam the world, like in every other fucking game of the last 10 years

Yeah, did Nintendo ever had a powerful console? Never

developing breathe of the wild for the NX's cartridges is why the game doesn't look as good as it did in 2014. i've heard of one gen holding the other back but it's usually supposed to be the previous gen not the next gen dragging a game down.

Systems live and die by their library

Stop looking for everything to be the next TORtanic, you stupid faggot.

>rumors

I've been hearing 'rumors' about the NX being a handheld since before it was called NX. Wake me when Nintendo actually shows it off.

I'll buy it if it's a good handheld with a good library. There's nothing comfier than playing in bed.

Name ONE Nintendo handheld console that failed commercially.
