Siege isn't dead at all, fuccboi

>Need to pay real money for the new characters

no thanks

also

>blackbeard

Fuck you OP, your thread is deader than siege. Let's talk about the new operators????
I heard the attacker is a grappling hook to go up through hatches and defenders some bitch with throwing knives?

>Need to pay real money for the new characters

Since when?

He just means he's too bad at the game to get enough renown for a new operator, which takes like 4 days max

I love Blackbeard but I still feel like he ruined the meta

I wish he shield broke easier. There's only 1 good strat to stop him and it's basically pray to god you can sneak up on him with a shotty. Pulses new ability is also pretty op

Underrated game. Just needed more maps

Strike Vector: The Thread
I was so good at this. No one played it. Faggots.

what a shame desu senpai

True, but most pulse users are retards that spend 99% of their time using their cameras for no other reason than "it's wall hacks XD"

>died too soon.

if you play it on PC

Really? I always run into a roamer at a weird spot on the map who can just see through the windows and shoot me

Again I use both operators but I think they need a bit of a nerf

Oh that reminds me, who do y'all main?
On attack it's Ash and Twitch
On defense it's Jäger and Pulse. Yes I'm part of the problem

It's not dead tho

TACHANKA STRONK.
TACHANKA DEFENSE.
TACHANKA OFFENSE.

With Battleye coming Siege is just getting started.

PC players are just waiting for Battle Eye to come and it'll start being active again

Blackbeard, twitch, and of course thatcher and thermite when duty calls. Also I like to run glaz when I'm up 2-0

On defense, I'll play rook, jager, pulse, frost and my best operater is probably valkyrie

Frost and Thermite

>rainbow six
>buy it for 15 dollars after i forgot it existed
>play the game
>keep dying, over, and over, again
>die before i can see them
>get sniped at spawn by someone looking outside
>enemies rush outside to kill us
>horrid netcode
>game compensates for someone lagging by slowing everyone else down to his level
>realize peekers advantage exists in this game
>so many horrid problems ubisoft will never fix
>go back to playing cs:go and cry because rainbow six has so many good things but so many awful game ruining things that just make it unfun.

I'm actually really good with valk too, probably have gotten the most aces with her, but for some reason I just don't really play her often.

Yeah, just getting started after 7 months

>Siege a god tier game

heh, you don't know about the shitty netcode/hit detection/lag compensation, horrible balancing updates, new characters being OP for the first part to give Season Pass owners a quip for buying into it.

Cheaters are rampant because fair fight is a horrible, shitty anti-cheat.

Updates are not often enough. Not enough customization. Graphics are meh. People turn everything off to see people.

It's bad, and you should feel bad for playing it.

Throwing in this.

Valk is a super useful operator to have on your team and I love her shotgun. She's great

But the level design and gameplay are great
I do agree they have to work on the hit detection tho. So many times I've hidden behind a wall and gotten killed by a headshot.

Hey guys I made a siege thread, come hang out

The game will last for years. The most significant problem it's had is cheaters.

Man
This game is so wasted potential.
It needed better balancing, not cancer objectives, more maps, better netcode, and a single player.
All of that couldve happened if it had like a year of dev time.

Splash damage is good too so it's i doubt it's them.

blog.ubi.com/rainbow-six-siege-operation-skull-rain-recruits-brazils-bope-operators/

Brazillian operators seem pretty shit IMHO.

despite all those problems it's one of the best and most innovate shooters in a decade

>Think about buying RSix:Siege $15 pack
>I won't be unlocking that many characters, but at least I have some already
>Find out that I don't get to keep the characters I unlocked during the free week
Yeah no, Ubijew - not this time.

On topic: Not even Humble Bundle 1$ tier and multiple friend-codes could keep this one alive. It's a real shame, since it's one of the few games that did the RTS/FPS formula well.

>Original was getting more and more popular with each beta releases
>At the time of the buyout by valve, 15k players was playing the game and it was the third most played Half Life 1 multiplayer mod behind Counter strike and Team Fortress Classic
>Most of the original mod devs got employed by valve to make a sequel
>They left one by one when Vlave made it clear that they had a different vision for Day of Defeat
>Day of Defeat Source got released, it was playing like a Counter-Strike clone with WWII skins, instead of being it's own game
>Modern Warfare came out, leading the charge for the modern era shooters, surpassing WWII ones
>DoD:Source is now forgotten (nothing new since 2005) and only played by 2k players

Strike vector was basically everything I wanted from a multiplayer FPS. Arena mechanics, 3d movement, high speed, projectile weapons.

It was good while it lasted at least.

the fuck you on

>suck at game
>WAHH ITS SO SHIT!!!!

>graphics are meh

it's on ps4 now, or at least it's coming. but without a mouse what's the point.

Never said it was shit because I sucked.

I said it was shit because of the glaring problems it has. How is it fair to be instantly killed by someone who jumps outside and kills us all, or someone whos aiming outside a window and kills 2 teammates?

How is it fair to have a half a second advantage over someone when you press Q or E

How is it fair to be lagged out if you get matched on shitty euro servers so you have almost a second of delay?

Spoiler Alert: It's not fair and makes the game less fun.

>exclusively play Glaz and Bandit
why is nobody else fun

it had a good run boys

t. never played Siege

Not that user, but even for a multiplayer game, those graphics are incredibly mediocre. It doesn't look too bad, but it's by no means impressive.

Thank you for proving his point.

for a game that has to run at 60fps on consoles it looks pretty good

holy fuck that looks good. i have no idea how i've never seen this until now.

why is it dead? is it worth playing if i happen to have a nice HOTAS setup??

>How is it fair to be instantly killed by someone who jumps outside and kills us all
You need someone watching the flanks.

>or someone whos aiming outside a window and kills 2 teammates?
You all need to be watching the windows when you spawn. You still have a huge advantage when you spawn because once you know the map you can just peak the one or two spots people spawnkill from.

>How is it fair to have a half a second advantage over someone when you press Q or E
Not defending it but it does discourage camping.

>How is it fair to be lagged out if you get matched on shitty euro servers so you have almost a second of delay?
You said in the other post that the game advantages high ping players. Which is it?

Here's another spoiler alert: you did suck but you don't want to admit it, you can't blame the game for your own mistakes, but it's not a bad thing because everyone sucks when they start.

All the operators you had owned during the free weekend weren't unlocked, you are right there.
But they were given a discount.

Getting the $15 version resulted in you getting 2 free random operators + enough currency for 2 of your choice.

With the discounts to already owned operators I was able to purchase 4 with currency by using my account's discount from free weekend + waiting for discounts on operators I was interested in (which seems to rotate weekly?).

All in all yah didn't google. Now the deal is over.

Or just AFK it overnight using any of the countless techniques you can learn about via google and buy 5 guys the next morning.

>why is it dead?
because people have shit taste

>is it worth playing if i happen to have a nice HOTAS setup??
no, because it is dead and it is a twitch shoother. think quake 3 or unreal tournament but air to air combat. it is played with a mouse. there are rail guns that kill in one shot.

Mute or Sledge

Unluckily console port is shit.

>Battleye
Is this shit the same shit in ARMA? Jesus, get ready for false positives up the ass.

It's dead because it's a multiplayer fps with a high skill celling and extremely unforgiving on entry.
Most of the call of duty skills don't translate and skill difference between "just starting" and "10 hours in" was so massive you could 25:0 the entire server of people just getting it on sale. Even worse when somebody who put 40 or 100 hours poped up on server. Hell, most new players would go negative from crashing into walls while learning movement.
So community was pretty quickly purged from anyone casual and then started dying because it's a niche fps with no marketing.
Once steam flash sales stopped highlighting it (when refunds killed them) it died completely.

> is it worth playing if i happen to have a nice HOTAS setup??
It's a mouse and keyboard FPS, i'm pretty sure joystick would massively cripple you.

It also has almost no players (last time i checked six months ago there was a dedicated group that would organize servers, but it's still small and has extremely high skill level after all that time) and no singleplayer campaign. Only challenge mode that's mostly about plain speedruning or speedrunning while shooting bots.

>dead
Nigga there are countless active servers with 10-50 players. This game won't die in the next 5 years.

Yeah but I never heard anyone having problems with it aside from butthurt hackers complaining it's a rootkit.

>that died
Siege is nowhere near dead

Why do they insist in trying to cash on multiplayer when they're indie developer without a dime to invest in marketing? Just throw a single player mode and call it a day.

>Wasting good arena mechanics on singleplayer
No.
Strike vector had a bright fast life. Much better than just being another mediocre 8 hour long low budget fps.

Enjoy your non-game then fagtron

could've gone on for a few more years, rip in piece

the best battlefield

Yeah because that works so well with Dayz

It's far from dead.

DayZ is still in development and as such has a lot of holes. It works very well in arma.

>launched with 400 players

Not much of a life

...

At the moment only legit competitor for CS:GO, which is sad.
Their price point is a bit steep though.
For online games you really want people to come in at the a steady pace and not only during sales.

Might be just me as an Eastern Euro poorfag speaking, but 20 euros would be good, playerbase sustaining price.

Evolve was most certainly not god-tier.

it recently evolved

>bullets come from players' heads not the guns
when will they learn?

SUCK IT DIVISION

is it dead by release

>there are people that fell for The Division meme

>underrated
Brink was awful. It's up there with Superman 64 as one of the most broken games all time. It was literally unplayable for weeks and even after it was just bad.

>mfw R6 is building up a more solid community than The multiplication
Shootmania still dead

>all time peak
>29,170

that's kind of sad

This game was so much fun, too bad it died and has no support anymore.

I actually think this game is hella fun.

Ash/Sledge
Smoke/Bandit
and sometimes Glaz

the game itself was alright
the pvp was fucked in the beginning when you have to grind to dark zone lvl 30 to buy any weapons

Thats pretty long fucking time to grind
what is this, a korean mmo

It's not bad for a rather niche shooter.
Plus it doesn't count uplay players.

Thatcher/Thermite
Jäger/Castle

I haven't played since before the Desert update, but I love me some EMP grenades, and Recruit is a damn champ

I miss it.

Maybe if shit could be launched individually instead of through the clusterfuck that is ManiaPlanet.

Not 60$ plus DLC fun.

What the fuck went wrong with MGSV's MGO, that's what I wanna know. Nowhere near as fun as MGS4's MGO.

>consoles
>FPS

It launched at $30

Montagne, Thatcher, Buck
Bandit, Mute, Rook

...

Outsourced is one thing. Lack of content, bad design decisions are others.

The biggest thing which sorta shits all over TPP and MGO3 is, MGS4 actually had way better and more solid core gameplay than MGSV.

>stillborn

>died too soon
More like it never lived

>original sound effects for pulse rifle, the predator, and aliens
>spoopy gameplay for marines having to worry about where they can get killed from
>predator shreks like an actual predator

so underrated
