Best boss
>Dark souls games have qualities
Shiba Inu make good companions but they aren't really "headpats and bellyrubs" kinda dogs.
They're also incredibly stubborn and difficult to train.
It is.
Shibas have autism, get an Akita Inu
>adaptability isn't a terrible idea!
>adaptability isn't a terrible idea implemented terribly!

> Dark Souls 3 is the best in the series
I have the most hours in DS2 and Scholar combined, by far.
Ergo: it's the best souls game.
>implying dark cloud isnt the best game ever made
...
nice joke
>Predictable
>Has like three attacks
>Not even a good "armored dude with a sword" fight like Artorias, Gwyn, or False King
>Best boss
I'm totally cool with every boss being a heavily armored knight with telegraphed attacks.

Miyazaki fixed it.

what did Sup Forums mean by this?
To be fair, it didn't fuck anything up either, except for the situation of being invaded by a hacker and screwing up your memory.
With soul memory you could invade/phantom in any location, at any point in the game, and someone would summon you. The game split into 4 paths, but you tackle each of those 4 paths at different times. Given the large population of the game at the start, you could be anywhere and you'd get summoned. You could invade anywhere, and get an invasion. Dark souls 1 and 3 really fuck up the "invade anywhere" deal because you could only invade humans. This lead to people only invading designated "PvP" spots. Dark souls 2 let you invade hollows, which contributed to invading anywhere at any time. When the population dwindled, they released a patch that highlighted popular hotspot areas at the given time, allowing players to still invade/phantom in locations you wouldn't normally go to.
Dark Souls 1 you could PvP in oolacile, the burg, or the forest. Most of the situations were 1v1s or ganks.
Dark Souls 3 you can PvP outside of Pontiff's. That's literally fucking it. Every other location is a gank (because you're only invading humans, and the reason you go human is to summon another player)
Dark Souls 2 you could PvP fucking anywhere - and I mean fucking anywhere. You could invade hollows, you could invade someone around your level - and it would be an actual fucking invasion. They wouldn't always have allies, wouldn't always have a blue - because they're just a person playing the game. They had a much larger chance of being solo.
The ONLY argument against soul memory is you can't be a designated "level 50" phantom sitting outside of O&S and only do that as that character. Eventually you'd "graduate" to the next division of memory. People think memory gave characters expiration dates, but in order to reach the "expiration" level of fighting havel monastery scimitar spamming assholes was 15mil+. That memory required over 150 hours.
playing through it now and enjoying it more than I did DS1. Just feels better
